This is one phone I have stuck with when others are boring. A truly GREAT phone, MP3, Dictaphone are perfect, great call volume, decent keypad and reliable siemens sw. I dont know what previous people had but it must have been a software issue. Battery life_ringer volume could be better but is reasonable. Even now, there is no "phone sized" replacement for this, SX1 and Nokia 6600 have much more features, colour screen etc but they are still quite a lot bigger and heavier than this!

I have found the data transfer between the phone and my computer to be a real pain. The software is very shallow and slow allowing limited options and frequently not responding to the phone despite a fully charged battery and correct placement. I also find dealing with Siemens tech support a hassle with english understanding being a frequent issue and lengthly delays in answering. I like the phone but managing my PDA side of things has been such a hassle I gave up using it. As this was one of the primary reasons I purchased the phone this has been a real disappointment.

We have several sl45 in the company
al of them are having the same problems
navigation keys are down, telefone book is gone or the link to the name is not there, mp3 player is playing by it self,
battery is verry week even the biggest one is in a day empty our opinion not good for bussines. we hav now bought Nokia and Siemens is out

OK people here it goes. The siemens SL45 is a shit phone.The memory is shit,the screen colour is shit,the battery always has problems, the phone is shit.Why would you want a mp3 player on your phone,phones are for making and recieving calls,not for listening to music on.I rate this phone a 2/10.i gave this phone to my brother and got a samsung phone.

abt sl45 good impressive mobile the mp3 and dictaphone the really energetic impressive , valuable and enjoyable hmmmm there no problem on this mobile except very low ringtones volume and if mp3 works or run during the call then ahhhhhhhhhhhhh that's option i really miss in that sl45 dictaphone play during call but opppps no mp3 during call sad

I had siemens sl45 . After one year I get a problem in multimedia card is there a problem in programming, and also the screen color sometimes rubbed out. I wait your advice. Thank you.
