it is a shame it is without an mp3 player.in my opinion, that takes something away from it---it would have been a real winner cause everything else about it is just perfect!

About Siemens. Siemens was the first with the slide keybord. Years ago siemens has an phone with the same idea. So Nokia has stole the idea from Siemens thats for sure.

fantastic phone. it does everything. i knew it was small but it shocked me to actually have it in my hand. the only small gripe i have is that the colour pixels are only 4096, not higher. The screen is very large given the smallness of the phone. I love the phone and a lot of people have complimented me on having it.

It is not a copy of the Nokia 7650, in fact Nokia stole the idea of this type of keyboard from Siemens... I suggest you take a look at the Siemens SL10, the first mobile phone with this concept.

Purchased phone recently on orange, lovely phone but does feel a bit flimsy, not like Nokia's always seem solid.

But LOVE IT and its fetures, good phone if you like a Pose and sleak design..

Hey everyone, I've been using the SL55 for a month now. It's a real wonder from Siemens. First I thought it is too small for my hands, but the slider is designed in an excellent way, and I use it as easily as any other bigger phone with normal touches. I can only recommand it....

Just two days, but has been the best phone I have had after t68,7650,t39. Little, very little but very powefull, just have to get used to the small joystick it has an excellent loudspeaker, the engineering did well the job, Thanks Siemens.

paul- it depends on the owners on how they handle the phone. you handled stupidly and not carefully that's why your phone ended up in the trash.

Forgotten to say; the sliding keyboard of my formely phone Siemens sl10 was broken after a year and expensive to repair (ended in my trashbucket). This sliding sl55 board is even worth maded than the sl10 and more less of dimensions, give it a few months buyers (sorry for your money that ya spend on it).
A little phone; but the greatest piece of
shit in stores now!

I don't like it at all. Not made for big (mankind) hands. The keyboard (styled like the sl-10) is screwed with only two screws in cheap plastic with the other side of the phone (i'll give it a few months and then it's broken). The design is great (retro look with an 1950th styled speaker). No my advice; the price is too high for tis worth piece of shit that will felt down in your hands after a few months. Sorry i wait for the sx-1, that will be a great one, i know for sure.
