i love my little phone,but the screen has gone scratchy and not clear any longer,is there a replacement screen for the above phone

I have the siemens sl55 black, but my cel phone usually blakout in the system, and in Brazil the assistence long time to solucions and will return the problem is fall.
what i do?

This is an old phone now and you need to remember that.
I've had this phone for about a year now and I use whenever I need to go out (like pubs, bars and clubs ect.)
Its nice and small and it fits almost everywhere.
I the above mentioned points should be the main reasons for choosing it - its seize.
The funtions are, by todays standards, appalling and I'd personally only recommend it as handset number two or to people who cares more about the seize and less about functions.
However that said its a great phone in terms of quality. It does exactly what you want it to, whenver you want its to do it. No lacks, no freezing and no complications whatsoever.
All in all a recommendable phone...

what the hell are you going to do with a IR and bluetooth when the phone can store only 1.6 MB storage, you cant even store a picture.

i am getting this phone and i need to no all the details my friend told me it had infared and bluetooth but doing resaerch it sowed me it hasnt got bluetooth im not too sure about infared heeeeeelp.:D

I have the SL56 which is the Canadian version of this phone. I have been using it for approx 2 years now. I absolutly love this phone. The reception is gr8 but the sound quality could be better. I also must have droped this phone and it takes a lickin and keeps on tickin. I love this phone and its cheap now of ebay

This phone is quite enigmatic. All I saw are I love this, I hate this, best phone ever, worst phone ever... I am quite confused. OK, the best thing you can do right now for understanding this phone is to buy one and have your own opinion. But do not post it here :)

Signal sucks!! Batery time even worse. lose calls al the time. Terrible display. the only good thing is that the batery recharges in less tha 1.5 hours

I really don't like this phone. I lose calls all the time and it randomly turns off. I have had this phone for maybe three months and I am buying something else.

hi there am an ex cpw employee and this time last year this phone was on sale for 89.99. i purchased it to use as a second phone. Since then i have lent it to a lot of people and it still remains in my drawer and is a great phone. Altho the build quality isnt great by any means and the display is terrible it does what its ment to generally well. What we have to remember guys is that this was one of the first color screen phone and at the time all 4 years ago. it was a must have phone!

I thing so this cell phone its really beautiful, but It hasn't characteristics as integrated camera or bluethoot Wireless technologhy. Anyway, it isn't my kind of cell phone.

I have had my siemens for a long time, this is a very strong phone. This phone has been through alot with me, it fell in about 7 inches of water, i dropped it over a 100 times, i dropped it so hard once the screen even cracked and phone continues to work without any problems at all. I am ready to change and get an up to date cell, but I feel I will never find another quality phone like the siemens SL55 because I've been through several phones and this one has lasted the longest.

The worst phone I've ever had!! I've had it for only 10 months and I already feel like buying another phone. All of a sudden, the SMS messages can be erased, the phone turns itself off and you don't even realise... I don't recommend it =/

I have the SL55 it is ok! I believe it's for anyone including men, women, teenagers etc...
The colour screen isn’t the best and the camera is very poor...
My phone has a good signal I can hear very well and people on the other end say they can hear me fine!
If you are thinking of getting one just KEEP in mind that this Mobile is a little older so you can't expect to be as good as the more recent mobile phones of today...
But if your looking for a Mobile that just does what a mobile should like make and receive calls and send and receive text messages GET ONE... if you want something more recent or advanced go for the Samsung D500 great in all ways!! And it’s a slide phone as well!!!
But for me I love my SL55... I am a married woman with 2 small children I don’t some fancy dancing phone I only use my Mobile when needed… And I have a digital camera that is better than any mobile phone could have…

I've had the phone for almost two years now and I'm quite satisfied. As all phones it's not perfect - after a year or so two keys stopped reacting, so I had to take it to the service point to have it repaired. It tends to freeze for a minute when you close the slide while it's preforming an operation. Also you can't set up voice memos as ringtones nor can you send them via MMS/email. It's overall slow, the games tend to load a couple of minutes, it thinks a good few seconds before accessing the phone book etc. Also, after almost two years the display is losing colour and bleaking - it's become quite dark and contrastless and I predict that in two/three months it'll display no colours but black, white, blue and yellow.
Upsides? Well, it's plain sweet. ;)
