I had the SL45 and do have the SL55 at th e moment. I think the 45 was the better phone of the two. I am looking forward of trying out the SL65. The only missing feature is the Bluetooth. The thing I could do without is the camera.

Siemens 65-Serie is taken from the sales: After our knowledge conditions ever on the portable radio market to an alleged device error as violently one did not react, as to that, which Siemens mobile communicated yesterday. The big customers Media market, t-mobile, Vodafone, e-plus and CO2 took the devices still yesterday to evening completely from their assortment. Siemens must accept thereby now not only a suppl.-bleached image damage, but probably also noticeable turnover losses and compensation complaints of the big customers. Problematic at present also the competition situation to hard draws contested portable radio market off: If Siemens had had to deliver market shares still in the last quarter, those wanted to good-make now with the new 6ėr row again soil for native of Munich - the fiasko around the loud beep, which could sometimes lead in extreme cases to hearing damage, tears them however straight exactly this under the feet away. As soon as health damage of the customer a malfunctioning could follow, these do not let spassen with itself - that other manufacturers ignore however also massive malfunctionings during the introduction of their new Handy generations, in such times gladly by the competition under the table are turned. Who already added itself Siemens a 6ėr-Geraet, can be relatively calmed down however, as long as he adheres to the rules of the nose and should visit a service partner, which can repair the error with the appropriate update in next time. One finds an update center for example over the search on java45.de photo: Siemens S65 - Hardly in the shelves, now already again outside Troestende messages come for Siemens however from the building of infrastructures. On behalf of the portable radio operator Vodacom Siemens develops a UMTS net in South Africa. The companies closed in addition a basic agreement, which specifies the basic data of the first UMTS order for the German electronics company on the African continent. Siemens will rig the existing Gsm and GPRS nets and will equip with UMTS able devices. The portable radio net of the third generation should be operational already in the first half-year 2005. Vodacom has at present according to own data approximately nine million customer in South Africa and operates further Handynetze in Tanzania, Lesotho, the democratic Republic of the Congo, Mozambique and Nigeria. The British Vodafone Group holds 35 per cent of the portions of Vodacom. Siemens plans further to merge the defizitaere portable radio section with the fixed net section and to form so a new section Siemens Com. With an annual turnover of 18 billion euro is Siemens mobile a large concern child of the company: Contrary to other telecommunications manufacturers Siemens proved mobile in the last quarter of loses. The breakdown with the loudspeaker nose is there actually only one problem under many.
