i advise the ones interested in buying this phone not to because it s a big s..t i had mine for 5 months and it broke i can t see or hear anything and i did n expected this from a pretty expensive phone.overall it s a big waste of money please reconsider!

How is the reception with this phone if anyone uses this in the US? With my old SL55, i have terrible reception unless i am in the city. I'm talkin about skyscrapers, etc. If im at home in the suburbs, my reception is 0... Any info?

I love this cell fone though i have not yet had it on my hand. What really bothers me is that I live in Argentina and I really cant find it anywhere. I´m looking for the platinum colour also. Its a pitty the this fone don´t have bluethooth and voicecall. If this changes in the future, and i know it will be so, It is going to drive you all crazy because of its style.

Hi people, i have a siemens sl65, and i accidently locked it by entering the password incorrectly, so now my phone says phone disabled, phone locked, can anyone tell me how do i fix it back???

Siemens gave us two Sl65 to test.Both had excellent reception!One of the best quality phones we have tested.

i want this phone, but i was told it shuts off by itself and also has bad reception. anyone who has this phone in the US have a problem with all that?? PLEASE email me. thanx

I came very close to buying this phone today until I've read the opinion that was posted. Now I'm kinda scared. I have a another Siemens right now for 2yrs. and it was fine until I dropped one to many times. I guess the real quetion is that, is this a good phone or what? If not what other SLIDER phone would u recommend? People who have used this phone a couple of months help me out PLEASE. Please email me and let me know. THANK U

Bought this model in nov'04 but half year later found the screen went off automatically. did not send for repair thought it was minor contact problem.now 2 days ago it suddenly collapsed with no ringing tone and unable to close the slide.once close unable to on the phone must adjust the battery.any specialist can advise how to solve this?is it costly or worthwhile to go for repair? went to a service centre after calling siemens hotline. took a queue no.(88) around 1pm but the staff was serving 50-55.have to return in the evening to find out more info. what is most required is to spend $20+ for finding out further cost involved for the repair or condemn it at this minimal investment.
quite dissapointed to own this model with less than 2years' usage and subscription plan. why a genuine buyer has to bear with this experience when the manufacturer/marketing agent compromise durability for low price and stylish features?

i've been using SL65 for about 6mths..
user friendly..but within this 6 months,it got spoilt twice..my screen got blank wen i slide up the fon..i asked the siemens shop asst in s'pore,they said its a common problem..
if ure lookin for cheap n stylist hp,i suggest u to get tis..the function are pretty good..

Everybody has a flip phone,but nobody has a slider.Cool phone.Works and looks GREAT!I had a SL56 before this.This phone is a solid 10!!!

Help! I just got a Siemens SL-65 but I cannot change the call ringtone – it’s stuck on the default ringtone & there’s nothing I can do to change it. Also, the opening animation for whatever theme is set keeps coming on whenever the phone is switched on even though I’ve disabled it! (no probs with shutting off the closing animation though!) Siemens tell me the phone I have has the very latest software version so I’m kinda stuck. Anyone have similar problems? Any advice?
