The SL65 is not worth the money, i had an e800 and recently had it stolen, thus an insurance claim led me to the SL65. Firstly the colour menu system is nothing compared to a samsung, the slide up/down feature is just heavy. The phone is larger than the e800, if it was a choice between the samsung e800 and Siemens SL65, it would definatly be the e800.

Anyways hope this give you some key sections which people have failed to mention.

Does the camera have a flash?? Also how many pictures and movies (as it has a camcorder) can you store on it - i.e. how is its memory? Thanks.

You don't have to slide the siemens up to be able to answer it! :p

Far easier on the eye than the dated looking samsung with the dodgy slider.

I own both the siemens sl65 and now a samsung d500. True the general consensus is that the samsung is a far superior phone with much more upto date technology and facilities, but however, I still think that the siemens has a better quality feel and build about it than the samsung.

Credit must be given to Samsung for improving on the sliding mechanism over Siemens, however.

Try the Samsung D500 ,It's ways alot better then sl65.Speaker phone,Bluetooth,95MB share memory,60 minute video recording,MP3,nice LCDscreen,......alot more. You don't have to sliding up to awnser the phone. You've got to see&try it &you gona love it.

Purchased this phone as it looked and sounded fantastic, but have since been hugely disappointed. The life of the battery is poor, needing a charge most nights if a few phone calls or a number or texts have been sent. The Sliding front concept is a good one, however I feel this could be improved if phone calls could be accepted without having to open the phone. WAP pages are rarely accessable although this could be a network fault, can not download onto the phone and would be much better if it had bluetooth. One word sums this phone up.... Disappointing

love this phone! battery life is fine (lasts longer than most nokia phones!) never had an experience of charging the phone everyday.. the need of opening the slider to answer a call never bothered me.. it is better to have a cool and sleek stylish phone like sl65 than those huge boring design like nokia phones theyre selling in the market nowadays

i bought this phone last month. at first, i was so impressed by it! its a great phone! such a beatiful design! But the problem is, it sucks on its battery life! i have charge it everyday. the receiver was also really2 bad! i compare it to my old nokia, this phone has no signal at all in my room, and my nokia has 3-4 bars. what to say..
