I have just downloaded a Theme Creator so I will release two exclusive themes for SL75 by the and of the year. One of them will be an "Inversion" theme (white on black) for black SL75 and another most likely will be a MAC X theme for snow white SL75. Both fully animated.

I'm gonna buy this phone...

The most important things to me when buying a phone is that it has a decent UI, and a quality build. Something that siemens do really well.

I dont appreciate flashy icons and menus when you spend twice as long trying to find what you are looking for. I feel that SE and Samsung phones suffer from this.

The last samsung phone I used was the E700 which had IR which you couldnt use to send files from your phone (there was no option in the menus) - what was the point, you might as well not have the hardware if the software wouldnt support it. You try and connect one to a PC - oh the fun and games. whereas at the time my siemens sl55 was really easy. I could send new java games, ringtones and wallpapers via IR. Something that was alien to the Samsung.

But I do agree that siemens has somewhat let slip what they once had. Its seems like they seem to play it safe and not be at the forefront anymore.

I remember when I owned S25 and arguably the best phone of its time, with other innovations that came after (sl45 - with MP3 player) and no-one can deny that the sl55 prompted the small form factor of slider phones. (nokia 7650 doesnt count cos that was a brick)

I only hope that Benq ignite that now is fading and lacking in siemens phone.

only a 10% improvement would make the sl75 the most desireable phone of the year

SL75 and S75 most likely to be released in Nov in Europe region. Just nice to meet Christmas period. This phone is a beauty with multimedia features and Real format (multi-task MP3 player) but without expandable slot.

Please note that SL75 is touted as a fashion phone and not a multimedia phone.

Siemens will be announcing a slider phone with expanable memory slot and music dedicated key just like S75 soon.

Yes, there is a theme editor tool (https://communication-market.siemens.de/portal/main.aspx?pid=1) to customerize themes for 75 series. You need to register first in order to download it. There will be a Escada version in gold. Could be releasing in limited countries.

I have two questions and they are very important.
1 - will it have software to customize color themes? so i could make an inversion theme.
2 - will be the Limited Escada edition released.

If the answer is no I probably will go for Serene.

Without a memory card slot this phone seems to be disigned for minimalism. Camera for capturing wallpaper only, while the MP3/AAC player is primarily for its ringtone. Why? Coz no memory expandability!

I have been eagerly awaiting the siemens sl75 and i must say i am a bit disapointed.
It looks great and the features sound great but, wheres the memory card slot?
Mobiles are getting advanced!!! Wake up siemens to stay in the game you must have expandable memory.

This phone has good features but i find that the design aesthetics aren't as good as the SL65. It's style is a lot more sophisticated though, better suited for business people or young adults.

If only Siemens could make a SL76 with a 850 band, I'll be for sure to buy it. If they don't I'll probably have to buy N840 which also has video ringtones as well!

allaround best slider on market ... if you look design + performance + Features = best phone , if you dont look design ... by far best slider would be SG75 . End of story .

About the quality of SL75 i'm sure of it i tried a lot of siemens and they were great. Don't forget that it is german and that's enough.
