but it has good stuff to!like the display is TFT 65.536 colors and the poly-tones are cool!and can record voice up to 2min.and short tones up to 10 sec.the games are good,the battery stays charged only 2-3 days!and more... the pictures are pretty good with it`s VGA camera!and has lots of aplications!

this phone is pretty god,but the softwere is not so good!and you can`t change the color scheme!and the start-uptone can`t de stoped!and...more!you can`t change the sms tone!for more info go on "www.my-siemens.com"

Words can not begin to describe how much I hate this phone. But I'll try.
50% of the calls I make or receive the other person hears their own voice echoing back to them.
There is no way to switch off the EXTREMELY LOUD start up chime.
The vibrate mode is actually louder than the tone. I can hear the phone vibrating when it's upstairs and I'm downstairs.
The menu has been designed by cretins and is a painful chore to navigate.
The keys feel plasticky and cheap and the paint started peeling off mine within two months.
There is no infra-red capability.
I actually stopped using this phone about half way through my contract and got a new phone on a new network. Yes, it meant I still had to pay line rental for six months until my contract was done, but beter that than be driven insane by this garbage.
Avoid at all costs.

I really like this phone but the only thing idon't like is that it doesn't have bluetooth and infared port.men you guys should do something to the this stuff cos is for help.Thanks i will looking forward t othis adjustment.

i have this phone but with t-online software and i dont have any problems with it it is a bit slower than my old nokia but the display is great and it looks great it has 4 mb of ram actualy but separated for different things like mms, foto album, contacts and stuff 4 mb is enough it would be nice if seiemens would allow us to share the memory the way we like it i hope some new version of software will come out soon

Any body know if you can get keypresses for the ringtones composer to compose any good ringtones? And i get wallpapers & ringtones sent to my phone but i can't load them onto my phone? Can anyone help? Thanks

I really like this phone, except for some things that have been mentioned here: battery life is terrible. one day and half if you're taking pictures or playing with it some. No bluetooth, no IR, no cable, the only way to get pix out of it is thru MMS and that costs 75 cents a pop here in Oz. Phone shops tell me they can't even GET a cable for it. Why didn't it cone with one, since there's no other way to talk to it? I wanted some ringtones, no way to get them, so I recorded some. Beautiful. You have to hold it really close to the sound and it works very well after a few tries. The screen is the best. Made by Arima in Taiwan. Software must be Siemens cos it's sucky like their others.

I've bought this model for 179euros.
It's full of bugs (some error messages aren't comprehensible).
It doesn't support java.
It has a resolution of 640/480 for the camera, and the quality is not so bad.
a foto full quality is about 35Ko.
minimal quality : 6Ko
screen : 65000 colors
It has a memory of 1.5mb
The MMS module is GOOD, easy of use.
The lifetime of the battery (idle, with no call, no mms, no sms, no schedule, with full network) 3 days and 6 hours.
no data cable provided.
hand free without echo or distorsion of the sound (very good !!!)
I'll try to return it to my provider, it doesn't satisfy me a lot, I'll take the ST60...

Good quality, bright and big screen, loud melodies, ... .
Only the battery is disappointing: always flat in max. 3 days even when only stand by. My former Nokia 6310i did 2 weeks!

This phone ST55 is shame for Siemens.No IR port,battery for 2 days only without tolk,camera very bad quality,no data cable and software, menu is very difficult.I had a lot models of Siemens before, but this is the worst.

Anyone knows how to reset the 2-9 hotkeys? Once I set them, I couldn't find anyway to change them, if this is true, how did Siemens' engineers design the software, very unhappy!

Please, tell me which is the software I've to use to transfer my PHOTOS!!! PLEASE! The Siemens (fucking) software is not WORKING! It trasfers just 2-3 photos then take the connection error! Does exist something else??? PLEASE!! I NEED!

Hi!!!
I bought the phone two months ago. The phone burst twice. It switchd off and suspend. The PC software doesn't allow to make a copy of phonebook, diary plaer and messages. Siemens servis always removes all data from my handset.

Well, i have the MC60, and iīm thinking change my MC60 for this model, is so beautifull!!!!Between this and Sharp GX10, what do you prefer?I heard that the IRDA donīt work with the PC, so IRDA is no usefull on Sharp, so Siemens has better software, better screen and camera.For those who search for a mobile that has a godd screen, good camera , itīs a excelent mobile, who needs Java anyway????The only flaw is no bluetooth or even IRDA!!!My next phone!
