Morgan I had the same problem, cost me £30 to get the software reset and uploaded. No other way round it.

It's still a great phone...allthought it was launched in 2003
I expect from Siemens to change a little his design....and with the nowdays hi-tech
will result a.....wow..wow phone.

My phone is out of its guaranty period. When I switch the power button on,I get the following message: app closed main !
The phone then switches off...this all happens very quickly.
Has anyone else experienced a similar problem and if so can you help?

I extremely hate this fone.. But I love the looks!!
I have the normal one.. I had to change the software 5 times the past 2 years!
It always got stuck and I had alot of errors.. and now.. I've got very important messages but the phone won't engage.
So, I have to go and install a new software which will make all of my messages get deleted. I don't want that. Those messages and calendar dates are very important.
Can anyone help, please?
One more question. I would like to change the cover to the McLaren edition. Can I do that? or it's not possible?1
As well as.. How can I convert it to the Symbian programming? and what is Symbian anyhow. I don't know anything about phones!
How can you convert the camera from VGA to Mega Pixel?
Is it possible for me to get the phone started without updating the software? and can I save my messages on my sim card?
Please help me.

when writing text messages, need both hands to hold the phone and type because of the layout of the buttons.

Can someone help? My SX1 is giving me system errors each time i try to access applications. I v tried using the hard reset code (*#7370#) but to no avail. Is there something else I can do to fix this problem.

i think it is avery difficult mobile to use..but its better than 6600(nokia)
