I've bought my sx45i about two months ago and it's even better than expected. The screen is large and very clear and the built in phone works great; even when on the move the sound stays crisp and there's no background noise. Because the sx45 has only 32 mb of internal memory the two expansion slots (sd/mmc and cf slot) are a perfect solution. The device has some drawbacks too of which some have been solved by Siemens with a free upgrade on the Siemens site. Unfortunately you can't solve the size, weight or battery life with an upgrade so that's something you'll have to learn to live with. Also it's a shame Siemens doesn't include a docking station with the sx45 like most manufacturers do. The dockingstation can be bought seperately for about 100 euro's which is a bit expensive. The phone can only be used with the headset that comes with the device which I think is a bit clumsy. You either have to walk around with the headset constantly attached to the sx45 or take the chance of being called but not being able to answer the phone. Batterylife is about two hours when using the phone or the pda and it's clear the screen consumes most power. I've downloaded a simple program that allows me to switch the screen of while listening to mp3's or when I'm using the phone and this really helps. Standby time is about 150 hours which I think is good.
In my opinion the sx45 is one of the best pocketpc's available at this moment though it's not perfect.
