I got my new SXG75 a couple of weeks ago but facing a few probs since the day one. Can anybody help me?
1. I have got 1GB MMC but it doesn't work smoothly with my handset. Contents are partially or fully removed from the card whenever I load it into the phone.
2. The camera takes the photo 5-7 seconds after clicking the shoot button. :(
Can ne1 tell me how can I get rid of these probs. Should I upgrade the firmware of my phone? I've also heard that sometimes handsets get dead after upgrading the firmware. Is it ture?

Hi Norah,
I have been experiencing the same problem while making calls. But now I have found solutions.
You can either try Voice Dial. The calls are automatically transferred to the headset in this case. OR you can set your headset's LED to blink for 3 times in a span. Just press the headset main button once after the call has been attended

WHen using bluetooth haeadset, all incoming calls are automatically diverted to the blue tooth headset, however reverse does not happen with out going call. After making the call I have to change the setting to divert the call to my bluetooth headset. Is there a way around this problem?
Pls help

you can use the internal gps with other gps software than the bundled. (some have to be fixed a little, but some are already working.)

Just need to know one thing. I have the nokia 5140i fisher price phone which is quite good for a climber. Even has EDGE to check emails etc. and the GPS shell works well where I actually use it, above 5000 m and can plot routes, elevation and other stuff. Now my question is, can I input GPS routes into the SXG75 like a normal GPS and get waypoint info, elevation and things like that WITHOUT having to use the operatro dependent paying version. It seems like the GPS function on this phone has to be paid for and nokia released one over a year ago which was completely free. By the way, GPS in a mobile is over a year old at this stage!!!

Hi there!
does anyone use IM (instant messaging) in SXG75 phone yet? I heard from friends that we can use IMPS at SXG75.
here is a test: use GAIM from PC and send msg to SXG75.
Create IM account in SmartVas site:
it's a free service.
PC Client:
1. install GAIM from SmartVas site
http://www.smartvas.com/y/pages.cgi?id=1
SXG75: adjust settings
Menu->Messages->Message Settings->Instant Messaging->Server
a. Server: http://www.smartvas.com/oma/imps
b. port:80
c. connecting profile: the same as browser
d. internet profile: the same as browser

I bought and started to use this phone two weeks ago together with a 1 GB memory card. I can briefly tell my impressions as follows:
PROS:
1- Performance with 1 GB memory is amazing
2- Display is wonderful
3- Photo quality is excellent
4- Speaker quality is extraordinary, you are kind of listening to music from a mini set
5- Listening to music from earphones is amazing too, even though I hate wearing them
CONS:
1- Typical SW and user interface difficulites
2- No flashlight
