PLEASE, I would be so grateful to you if you could tell me which has the faster OS, the Quest or the Quest Pro? I am trying to decide between the two and have heard the OS is very slow in the Quest pro. I thought with you working for Sonim, you might have experience of both.

First mobile wont replace it, so I have thrown nearly $1K away. I am perusing them with the CGA, but I think its tough titties to me. While the concept is great, and they are genuinely waterproof, they are not as touch as the claims, at least not for a farmer, and the UI and firmware are just terrible. A $80 nokia has far nicer UI and firmware...
Just got the phone, the phone ok, just to over price.
but not bad, still need some inprovement, the ring tone sucks, the phone do not have one touch dialing, the bluetooth seem to be having some problem when the phone screen saver come on.but still a great phone.
guys, sonim just about meets all the criterion i luk 4 in a fone. can any1 pls temme if its been released in india and where can i buy it from? google search fruitless.
Why do I see lots of Sonim phones on eBay that are MADE IN CHINA?
Here is one example (with one of the photos showing the manufacturer's sticker at the back part of the phone): http://cgi.ebay.ph/Original-So...12870wt_934.
Does Sonim outsource its phones in China or have the "Chinese pirates" had their hands on Sonim's phones again?

I apologize for your bad experience. We constantly work on improving our phones and strive to test every single unit multiple times. Unfortunately sometimes bugs do slip through. Please email me your information and we will take care of this as soon as possible.
I have read a lot about the Sonim IP3 Quest Pro and it sounds great in many ways. But.. I have also read it´s problems with the GPS and that it doesn´t support MMS. I´m searching for a rough phone like XP3 Quest Pro, BUT with MMS and a nice GPS.
I need a rough phone in my private, I spend a lot of time in the nature.. My last phone got a little wet in the mountains so I need a rough phone.
So my question is: Does anybody know when Sonim makes a phone with good GPS, a quite good cam, and MMS. Why have a cam if you can´t send photos to friends etc..?
Hi, I really liked the look of this phone so I have ordered one on contract. The first phone I had was ok except that if you made a call via the handset there was a high pitched screech down the ear piece to the extent you can not hear the other person - the phone worked ok with hands free and with the ear phones.
I have today received a replacement phone which won't switch on.
My question is what sort of QA does Sonim have - When I phoned sonim about the first fault the guy on the phone said "yes I have heard of that before - you need a new handset" I am hoping for 3rd time lucky but am becoming increasingly fed up and will probably not recommend this phone to anyone.
I want to get myself an XP3.2 Quest. I just have one question.
Can this phone send and received mms(picture messages)?
I cant see anywere that they say you can do that.
Can anyone please anser my question?
I'm onto my 5th XP3. they crap. might be tough on the outside. but thats no good if phone wont turn on or just freezes up. it often shuts down in the middle of a text. And getting one fixed is a real run-around. I've just been told, as of yesterday, Mobilefone repair in NZ aren't servicing them. So where to now?????

This fone is for u.. the internet access u receive from the BB is great cuz its at no extra cost for browsing & u cn use it as a modem @ home but becuase the BB has no 3G it will run a nit slow..
But this fone has everything you have mentioned..
It doesn't have many features but everything it has works 100%. The phone has perfect reception and sound from the speakers is unusually clear. If you work in construction or outdoors this is the phone for you. Battery life for me is at least 10 days per charge and I can wash the phone if I drop it in cement by accident, which has happened twice already.
This phone is not for show-offs, it is for people who want a phone that works.
If you are an office worker and want the phone to match your "OffRoad SUV" then rather get an iPhone.
