Sony CMD C1 - user opinions and reviews

I bought one of these in Hong Kong hoping it would work in either the US or the Philippies. USA is on 1800 mHz so it won't work, but the Philippines is 900 but the unit still won't work with a local sim card. Anyone know what the problem s? It is apparently a European version phone.

i like this phone beacuse no one have any thing like it..but i can't find any accesories for it even the battery or hands free..can you guid me to whome i shall find this things..i'm in saudi arabia now.bye

Dear Person , i have got a Sony CMD-C1 mobile.The design pleased me a lot .But the mobile was used in Netherlands.Here ,i am in Morocco , i want to unlock it in order to use it .Please if you have got a solution to my problem ,i would be very grateful to you if you would like to send it to me .

I have it since Janyary, it is preety good phone for local use only (if I don\'t bring the charger with me, can\'t travel more than 200 km and back. Ringer volume needs at least one level higher (somethimes when my C1 is in briefcase I can\' here it), the display and the 3-D menu are perfect, memory O.K., thats it
