Does anyone know where to get the software for use with the data cable for this phone? I have been using my phone for 4 years now and it is definately the most dependable phone I have ever heard of, but now I want to store my phone book on my PC but cannot find the appropriate software. If anyone can help, please post! Thx-

Hi, My name is Tuhin. I'm from Bangladesh.
I just purchased the Sony J70 phone two months ago. From my own experince I can comfortably say that "Sony CMD-J70" is very reliable. I love this phone. It's in a right shape, size and weight. The ring tons are very nice and the earphone sound is very mild.But it's vibratin is so low that some time I can't feel it properly. But I like this phone very much.

I just bought this unit, second handedly but in a very good condition. I like very much, even since the first time I saw its review. Nice design, very user-friendly interface. Overall, this is the best phone I've ever had.

My Sony is very good. I really enjoy it for almost three years now. but it dont accept picture & sound messaging. I love Sony Products. Thanks.

the phone is working fine. but it used to hang,and then i had to restart it.
it is also showing arrow sign first time which i had never observe. can any body tell
the site for downloading its user manual.

I have used SONY CMD-J70 for 3 and half years without any problems.But lately the quality of all incoming voice connection collapse -I hear the other side cleary but my interlocutor could not hear me! I wonder if it is worth to repair or maybe it is too old to do anything.
If someone has the similar problem?
How long do you use SONY CMD-J70 ?

A charger for this phone can be bought on ebay. There is an auction for these chargers selling at £3.49 and thats including postage. If you have any trouble getting one let me know and i will gladly post one to you for that price. Absolutly brilliant phone, cant fault it. Its got to be one of the best phones i've owned.

there is possibility do upload ringtones, wallpapers, change icons etc.

To Faith,
In order to set d phone to vibration mode, hold the "answer call" (green) button until 4 icons will appear. Choose the second one. To switch back to normal, repeat procedure and choose d 3rd icon. You can also set it to silent mode and "ring once mode". Regerding the ringtones, I think that the only way to download them is via a data cable, purchased separately. It is rare to find in d shops however! You also said the phone does not ring. I also have that problem from time to time. Try doing a missed call...it seems stupid but it works with my mobile!

I hav a dummy model of this phone the design is quite nice. it has got wap cos the picture on the dummy is of the menu on the wap catagory

sony CMD J70 is the first set i used and i m still using it, but i didnot know all it functions, pls i will be very grateful if u can send me the manual of CMD J70 in english. i m so much interested in dat phone.

I love this phone. It's just the right shape, size and weight, good clear buttons. Scheduling is a doddle. The only downside is the lack of accessories available to the UK market, as it has an obsolete model here since the Sony/Ericsson merger. By the way, the factory default settings are in the user manual, which you can download for free from the "support" section of the Sony Ericsson website.

Am from Bombay, India. Love this phone. Lost mine. Still mourning. Swore by Sony . . . and it's jog dial. Unwillingly switched to Nokia. Couldn't find another Sony CMD J70 as it is not available in India anymore. If anybody knows how I can get my hands on one (brand new) will be pleased.
