i had this phone from december 2000 til l december 2002 i found a shop who sells it and i will buy it, because i had never been so happy with a cellphone like this i have had 2 other sony-ericsson phones and 1 nokia, and as far as i can remember this cmd z5 was the best i had.

I had this phone couple years ago and I regret for selling it! This is the best phone ever! I couldn't find spare parts, so I sold him. Even now it stays the best phone for me!

just got this phone 2 days ago as second hand unit. It's a simple phone in today's standards but its style is just captivating!

a classic phone for my collection!

I used it for over a year and I liked it. A real workoholic. The only problem I had with this phone was that it's battery lasted for a day or two only. And there are no batteries available in stores here. But it is over 6 years old too- what do you expect.

I like this phone a lot.
I've been using it for almost 7 years now!!!
(got it in December 2000)

Still works like new.
The only thing that bothers me is that sometimes the voice in the speaker is not too good and the person you are talking to can hear an echo of his voice.

But you can still get the battery!

I'm really sorry sony doesn't make cell phones anymore... sony phones were always something special.

omg! one of the best phones i've ever had! i bought it in saudi arabia in 2000. i t was great and it had all the basic functions..... and it also came at a very high price back then. but its worth it! haha memories.

My first and best phone, ever!! Got it in 2000 and totally loved it.... Some loser stole it! Didnt buy another phone since...
The jog dial... the games.... Awesome.
Actually mine got run over by a car, and the jog dial didnt work right, but i never would have given that phone up.
I was so thrilled I even added z5 to my email id! Huge fan :))

This was the best phone I had. It was small, it was cute, it did everything I needed. I loved it.

Some %@&* stole it from my pocket.

I have mine for five years and it stills working like when it was new. I wont buy anithing else before this one gets broken.
This is the best and the most well invented phone i´ve ever seen till today. My brother bought a Nokia at the same time i bought mine. But till today he needed to by two more nokias cause they simply stopped working. And some of u say nokias are better than this? :S LMAO ....

Used it for about 5 years, after which the batteries life shortened. Pros: One of the smallest WAP phones for its time, fast navigation menu
Cons: Antenna breaks off easily, no option to copy all contacts from phone to SIM card.

For the manual check Sony Ericson website. Unlock code is 0000.

actually my sony cmd z5 was have a problem of shutdown when i call to every one or if somebody will call me in my cell phone , so this type of problem with me in my sony cmd z5 so what i have to do

hello,really this is a good fone,i wana ask about something i lost the security code i dont know it but i'm sure tht is was the default code tht came with mobile,i wana know it plz email me to know master code to open it ,thanks

one of the best mobile fone that ive ever had small and trendy,i miss my sony fone too bad coz i left it on the cab when i was drunk,.i just hope sony would make a new modified model for this one.

I need help boys!! my cmd-z5 is restarting every 30 seconds, he searches for new net and finally gets mine, but then happens the same!! Could it happen because of the battery?
