Sony Ericsson P910

Sony Ericsson officially announced the P910, the expected successor of the famous P900 smartphone. We already published some leaked images of P910 three days ago. The new features of P910 are the QWERTY keyboard at the back of the flip, 256K color screen and the expanded to 64 MB internal memory.

Sony Ericsson today launches the P910 smartphone, offering consumers a combination of phone, PDA, e-mail and web browsing on the move. The P910 has the widest variety of input methods including mini QWERTY keyboard, natural handwriting and T9, so that users can choose the most convenient way to access the phone’s many functions. Triple band GSM/GPRS coverage gives a global level of freedom to use one of the smartest mobile communications tools around. Sony Ericsson expanded the internal memory from 16MB to 64MB and included a 32MB Memory Stick Duo in the box. The P910 supports up to 1GB Memory Stick Duo Pro, creating almost endless possibilities to store and share images, video, music and business data.

The P910 will start shipping globally in Q3 and exists with five different keyboard variants to meet the needs of different language groups: Qwerty, Qwertz, Azerty, Russian and Greek.

P910a Triple Band 850/1800/1900 MHZ for North and Latin America

Sony Ericsson S710a for Americas and Z500i for Europe and Asia

Sony Ericsson extends EDGE-offering with two new camera phones - access to data at broadband speeds with megapixel camera phone S710a for Americas and clamshell Z500i for Europe and Asia. Both phones are Class 10 EDGE-devices taking advantage of the latest EDGE network enhancements to access e-mail, games and information, being capable of uploading information at Speeds up to 240 kbps for downloading and 120 kbps for uploading.

As the earlier announced S700, the S710a has a stylish and unique three way communication style with swivel-design. This offers users the best operation mode depending on the task, whether it is takign photos, browse and talk, or text and e-mail. The S710a features an integrated 1.3 megapixel CCD digital camera for taking high quality photos and a scratch-proof 2.3 inch 262K TFT colour screen to display quality images and games. To further enhance the imaging experience, the S710a comes with a Photo Light to enable snapshots in dark environments and 8x digital zoom so shots can be taken from a distance.

The Z500i is a neat clamshell phone that offers classic Sony Ericsson styling, great communications features and is extremely easy to use. Its built-in VGA camera can be used for recording still images and video clips and with QuickShare™, consumers are just a few clicks away from taking, sending and sharing pictures, sounds and video, offering the unique Sony Ericsson ease-of-use experience on this innovative handset.

Sony Ericsson K500

Sony Ericsson introduces a great entertainer - K500. The fun never stops with the K500 as it has the design, graphics capabilities and superb viewing clarity to make it ideal for gaming. The large 1.9 inch 65K TFT colour screen and MultiAction™ joystick make it a pleasure to view and play games. Fast and smooth game play is assured by a graphics platform – Java 2.0 and Mascot Capsule® Engine Micro3D Edition from HI Corp - especially created for fast-action, graphics-rich mobile applications. The K500 has enough internal memory (12MB) to store up to 170 2D or 45 3D games which can easily be downloaded from operator portals or Sony Ericsson Fun & downloads. Sony Ericsson’s developers program is supporting game developers around the world with the necessary tools to bring out new and exiting Java games. Combined with the Gameboard EGB-10 accessory, the K500 can double up as a fully fledged gaming console.
