looks good with just the right specs for me. It will all depend on the price. it should not cost more than 300 euros for me to buy.
Aspen & Vivaz..., for some people their design maybe are not the desirable ones, but wait until you have it in your hands, these are among the most comfort phone's shape you could feel with.
The E72 will be a benchmark business device, and it does have a 5MP AF camera, which is the only essential beating point to this phone.
I know the price of this will be more than the E72, so, I urge SE to reconsider putting in a 5MP AF with Flash in the phone + a front camera before releasing the phone even if it would cost them the initial investment, IFF they don't want the E72 to beat the shit out of this phone. Make it a sure shot phone for the business audience.
Please... SE... for God's shake... listen to the fans this once????
Very nice phone, but I hope it gets touchscreen like HTC Trophy has. In any case very few Sony Ericsson phones are available here in Pakistan. Its sad to see Sony Ericsson neglecting one of its key market!
3.5 mm jack!
At last the bright boys of SE are listening.
Now, about the PRICE TAG.
Hope its competitive and not stupidly expensive.
If the price is ACCEPTABLE, then SE will start to gain loyal followers again.
late ..as usually
when it will be available ?
end of the year?
sony ericsoon must launch it soon..
change ur strategy pls SE...
SE is back...
1. TFT resistive touchscreen, 16M colors (65K effective)
2. XPERIA Panels Accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate
3. Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.5.3 Professional
4. Skype, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter apps (u can't find it better on nokia phone)
5. classic design..
6. better than nokia e71 or htc or blackberry..
this one is good...
i wonder how people comment this phone as bad product..
look at htc product..comes with 2 or 3.2 mp camera...just fine, then blackberry poor camera...
but this..sony ericsson camera...plus winmo ..plus nice design, plus 4 gb memori card , nice design, auto rotate screen, blablablabla...i like it so....
It seems that the CPU used in Aspen is quite interesting, it's a Qualcomm MSM 7227. See below:
"The MSM7227 chipset packs a 600Mhz application processor, a 320 MHz application DSP, a 400 MHz modem processor, hardware-accelerated 3D graphics, integrated Bluetooth 2.1 and GPS, 8 megapixel camera and 30 fps WVGA video encode and decode and display support, all in a 12 by 12 millimeter footprint. It also promises lower power consumption than older MSM 7xxx chipsets. It will support all leading mobile operating systems, including Android, Symbian S60 and Windows Mobile. "
This may looks good, but i've lost faith in Sony Ericsson, period.
For they lack the support of their past products. Point and case, my Xperia X1.
All they did was just one update and...well that's pretty much it!
Not even an update for the Win 6.5...sheeeesh, for shame SE.
I've been a loyal follower of your products, but no more, sorry.
