maybe ive been spoilt but this must be the worst sony ive ever had. 1 out of 10 for design. not sure who designed it but they must heve tooth picks for fingers. how the hell do you text quickly on these buttons?
wish i had gone with the 902

have been using this phone for 5 months now. Really happy with it. Have used the iphone, omnia and SE G900 before but realised that this is the phone for me. I can live wtout touchscreen. Weather proofing is an added bonus. Not even once has it hung. GPS/google works great. Batt life could be better tho. Charging it every 1 - 2 days but I guess that is normal nowadays.

gday folks,
after many,many other fones and some were good for what they were designed for (nokia 5310 muso ex, w810i etc..)i am now using this fone and have to say so far so good. flash it to get rid of any network branding and it works faster and only very slight lagging,
shock, water, dust resist is good and camera and music sweeet. i keep in mind that if i want great music or photos i have to get a mp3 player and a digi cam but i dont wana carry around 3 different devices at once when i can have them all on one quality device that does the job just as well. like most things in life if you look after it it will look after you.

This phone does not live up to expectations. The concept is great but the execution very poor. Response time is awful, it switches off a couple times in a day and the screen cannot be read in daylight conditions. The black background and lack of high contrast visibility is a pain on a phone to be used outdoors. Had it for almost a year expecting a software upgrade but have now given up and throwing it in the bin!!

I am satisfied with the C702, only that its switch off by itself. I update the software but still its switch off. I hope Sony Ericsson work on the problem because it’s frustrated.

I have this phone currently and have had loads of problems with the software, but as it is on contract have to keep it till March 2010. I've found the camera is alright but its began to turn its self off randomly whenever something touches it even slightly, and at times when i get texts and calls. Therefore is pretty much rubbish. I wouldnt recommend it.

Can anyone know how to use a flash on this phone? does it have a flash or it's just a camera light? pls......answer my question..thanks!

I have this phone for more than a year now...
Here is my experience with this phone:
- Camera is almost useless. The picture mostly in bad quality.
- Very often it hung. Don't know the exact reason.
- Why the radio station nickname can't be displayed on the screen?
- Push button on microphone headset useless when playing radio. On Nokia, it function is to switch to the next station.
- At one time, suddenly it couldn't play the flash file anymore.
After updating the software:
- It restart to the main menu everytime I access the bookmark. :((
- It hung when i depress the volume button to search radio station.
The good news is that the GPS working at its best. At least it can show me where I am (in Indonesia). Also, the water resistance is as promised. I rinsed my C702 with water and still alive now.

> In reply to sourav @ 2009-06-01 07:46 from utB5OMG, the yellowish sense is missing now! You'll need to downgrade when you want to take a photo with yellowish sense and then upgrade again if you don't want the hangs and the yellowish sense.
Hopefully the next firmware upgrade will add some options, so you can configure if you want the yellowish sense and/or the hangs.
