overal build quality seems great, also the feel when held in hand. only the keypad could be better, but after you use to it, it shouldn't be a trouble. great device

Just wondering if a long time user of this phone could post up all the negatives of this phone?
I have read most of the forum pages for this phone, but just want someone to list everything bad about this phone (most of the problems are probably minor, but I would still like to know them) - planning on upgrading but having to chose between 2 phones at the moment...
Quite keen though, to hear about the keypad labels and the side paint cracking away - how bad is the issue?

I have this phone, and at first it froze continously, but that was the problem with the old firmware, (R3CA037), but i upgrade a month ago, and now I dont have any problem (no more freezing) (R3DA029)... recommended

Have had this phone for over a year now and its been a real disappointment. Constantly turning off while in use and displaying, "sim inactive" cannot wait until i can afford to get a new phone.

The Sony Ericcson C702 is a very nice looking phone... Ive had it for well over a year but I dont think I can recommend it to anyone! Here are the list of problems I face with it:
1) The colour from the sides peels off after some time so it looks older than it is
2) It freezes frequently
3) When Im talking to a person at times I cant hear what they are saying but they can... This happens multiple times during a conversation for about 10 secs at a stretch... very annoying
4) The call waiting tone and the message received tone can be heard by the person on the other end of the line (dunno if this happens on other phones)
5) When I dial a number not on my contact list the phone hangs
6) The phone hangs when I attempt to put on hold and answer another call
7) Pictures taken in the night look yellow!
Now am I the only one facing these issues!!!

the nokia 3720 is also ip54 certified. gsmarena has even conducted a test on that phone wherein they put the phone in a glass of beer. afterwards, the phone still worked perfectly well. i wonder if it's the same with c702 since they are both ip54 certified.

frnz m usin this phone for around a year nw... n i wanna say dat it has never disappointed me at any point of time... never went for repairs either...:)
those who need a wholesome Cyber-Shot to click in rainy season w/o the fear of water splashes... go for C702, it rocxX...
