> In reply to Anonymous @ 2008-07-01 08:22 from uS%$ - click to readI've checked all my settings and everything seems fine. It did it again this morning, I woke up five mins after it should have gone off to a text from a friend, re-set the alarm for 5 mins to see if it worked and it was fine then. I know for a fact there is no way I am sleeping through it, I have an awful alarm tone on there that should wake up even the heaviest of sleepers. I'm not trying to slag the phone off as I do love it, I am just trying to find out if there may be an inherrant fault and unless you ask you never know.

Hi,

I have a few questions about this phone, I have had the C902 for nearly 3 weeks now and overall I do love it but I just want to know if anyone is experiencing any problems. I am not sure if I am or not, i know it sounds daft but you will understand when i explain.

The alarm tones are slightly mellow and I think i slept through the alarm twice in a week, bearing in mind i normally wake up to tthe click so this did suprise me. I then transferred the happy ride tone over from my last phone as that is awful and will always wake me up, and i slept through it again. The reason I am asking about faults is that I am starting to wonder if it is even going off in the morning, I have it on reoccuring Mon - Fri. I am normally a very light sleeper but now i'm not sleeping well as i am scared i won't wake up on time in the morning. Is anyone else having this problem.
Also, my screen keeps freezing and making me think it has turned off then finally coming back on again. Anyone else having this trouble?

Help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I had this model for a while after my G900 return. I got the G900 because I was looking for a PDA-like phone. Unfortunately, the G900 was a total failure for me. I had tried more than one but the performance and the reliablily just so bad that I had to get something different.

I decided to get the C902. I like slim phones. From the begining, I missed the WLAN, although the screen is small and not good for NET surfing or checking email, sending, receiving SMS etc.

The other huge disappoinment was for me the camera. It is suppose to be a 5MP camera but the picture quality was worst than I ever seen even with a 3MP camera.

The look and style of the phone is nice. I think the functionality, features or performance is not good in my opinion.

The reception, the sounfd quality is average, not too good. The built quality is average, it looks good but very brakeable. You need to be very careful about handling it.

Luckily, I have a good relationship with dealers and I can return any phone within 30-days and exchange it for any model or brand.

I think if you looking for a basic phone without NET and very limited SMS usage, and the camera quality does not bother you then this phone may work for you. Otherwise, look for something else because there will be a big disappointment for you down the road.

I hope Sony Ericsson will release a thin, PDA-like smart phone soon.

got this fone 2 days back.

Had shortlised n82 and k850i...n82 has great features but looks pretty ordinary and is bulky(not by weight but overall dimensions) and i was scared that it may slow down after few weeks/months(which is common with many nokia symbian phones)

k850i is awesome but i thought it was quite bulky(by dimensions). Also i didnt like the d-pad..i found it quite inconvenient considering i wont change cell till atleast 1 yr.

so finally i decided to go for c902 which was just launched in my country...its cool and quite slim n stylish with a unique camera cover...camera performs well for a mobile phone..touch sensitive keys are very responsive and fast..music quality is also good..keypad is also easy to use...i have experienced no software problems as of now and hope i dont get any in future..

overall a good phone.

I am sorry for your experience - I am sure there are some very satisfied customers (somewhere) but I think too many of you who had disappointed after purchase!

Hopefully, in the future you check out the unit more before buy- the SAME unit!

Have a nice day!
