just got this phone.

flash is rubbish, led givs very poor quality pictures.

when connecting USB cable the connector got stuck in the socket, had to pull really hard on it to release and one of the plastic pins is wedged deep inside.

going back after 5 mins and not even made a call yet. Wonder why i had not had a sony phone for 3 years.

I got my c902 on 23 and was previously using a k800i and k810i.

The any key to answer setting for my phone only works with the handfree set, would like to know if other owners share the same problem.

Am reluctant to send it to the service centre coz the rest of the phone works sweetly. It has hung on me twice since, but it recovered after 2 mins or so without me resetting the phone by removing the battery.

It is very responsive, response time is noticeably shorter than my k800i/k810i. Pictures on the phone look rather dull, suspect due to the brightness of the screen.
The screen is small so is unable to fully display the pictures. I have also received comments that the sound quality on voice calls is noticeably better than my k800i.

Overall, I am very satisfied with the phone.

this phone rocks.
my sister bought it yesterday and it was so slim.
the picture quality is great.
but i think my k850 is still better.
i am planning to buy the C905, for i know that it is the king of camera phones.
SE rocks.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2008-06-24 13:12 from nnbj - click to readIt is relatively small phone notparticularly strong - I would suggest the X1 or the C905 they can support a flash much more- they are much bulkier!

> In reply to Leon @ 2008-06-24 10:47 from PUqJ - click to readvery strange...mine hasn't got problems at all! It takes 2 seconds for the camera mode to activate but that is fine (that's how long it takes when you swtich the "on/off" button of any digital camera)

Don't listen to people asking you to wait for a better model. The C902 is just the best :) You can try to update it, that might resolve the problem, if not ask for a replacement since it is still under warranty.

> In reply to Leon @ 2008-06-24 10:47 from PUqJ - click to readTake the unit back, and wait for a better model. SE is having some sort of quality problem.
They decided not even try to manufacture the X1 (flagship of SE) but to give it to HTC - which is not famous about their QC either.

bought this last weekend. feel & touch are oks. i had 2 problems though. 1stly, the pull-out camera is rather slow in response and 2ndly, whenever i delete the text message, it will hang. Called SE hotline but they were not able to help. Anyone know the solutions ?

Yeah, not sure how this phone differs from the K850? Is it just the K850 in different clothes? Or an update that would have been called the K902?

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2008-06-20 19:41 from mstL - click to readin reguards to the screen size comments made by iothers on this form i would just like to add...

this is rather petie to be honest,i mean a screen is a screen from personal experience nokia kinder went wrong with the screens for the N series FULLSTOP their faults are never ending and their new software isnt amazing to be honest... this isnt an attack on nokia at all the other brands also have faults SE's faults normally involve the speaker or the mic and although their software can be slow its not as bad as the other one i mentioned....all in all the c902 looks like a great phone and i have one on order i also have the n95 and htc dual touch phone so i will be able to compare those 3 and with the nokia N95's poor build quality a 3210 would be more impressive.

Finally i would just like to say the phones that are released by all brands aregreat designs and ideas so to speak but if a little more time was taken and customer satisfaction was taken into account instead of beating each others release dates the phones would be far better and all the silly forums like this wouldnt be filled with users complaining...they would be filled with people singing the praises of the relievant companys and brands...
so guys no offence ment to anyone lets keep the arguements at home and just opinions nd advise please? thats why the sites here....
