I have this phone on a 24 month contract and I am sure that it won't last this long, I love everything about this phone on paper, but not in reality.

After using it I have faced many problems with this phone for example the alarm clock doesn't work, poor battery performance and it turns itself off whenever it wants and I cannot turn it on.

It freezes, stalls and sometimes doesn't even recognise it has a sim card in it. It sends messages multiple amounts of times without warning. Also the most frustrating is that when I get a phone call most of the time it doesn't ring and goes straight to voicemail and I miss calls continually, everyone comments on not being able to get in contact with me.

I think that they have stuffed too much into this phone and it can't manage to keep up. I will be calling sony ericcson to plead my case as I know that it won't last my full contract and I need to get a new phone that will, 2 months in it just seems to get worst.

Sad I know because it could be such a great phone, I would not purchase this phone if you are considering it, and I say that as a huge fan of Sony Ericsson :(

Sony Ericsson is simply the best brand of phones available during our time, unlike Nokia built quality is not good you'll experience Creaking sound during txting and most of the time hang-ups.

I owen Nokia E66 which is a great phone and Sony G900 which another great phone I love. Today will be shopping my 3rd phone looking at Sony C902. Based what I hear here mostlikly buy one today.

I think those websites with S0ny splitting with Ericsson are FAKE! i mean if they really were officially splitting.. then it would be on the news and on BBC etc etc
so those websites with that news on are clearly FAKING IT! its false news!
all SE fans will agree with me.
Nokia fans will deny it because they know theyv faked the news...

> In reply to China NO 3G @ 2008-09-05 15:02 from Mk@Jthats why I reinstall the wrong band. But its ok..I would get T700 later... but the software in Australia they used differ brand of that.. and somehow GPRS does not work properly thats why I changed back to generic SE C902 software which is not 3G but my GPRS works well...

Thanks for reply

Ive had this phone a few days now and yes the speaker is quite nice. The music player is also nice which supports the mega bass feature. Camera takes nice shots but so so when in the dark. Only 2 disadvantages for me so far and that's the sometimes sluggish user interface and the flimsy camera slide.
