> In reply to Anonymous @ 2008-06-07 21:11 from mstLI strongly disagree. Once again, do not judge a phone before having seen or used it.

Have you seen the C902 for real or just through web sites?

I saw it and played with it, and believe me it is a fantastic phone and most of the people you will buy it won't care about the screen size (which is decent in my opinion) or the WiFi (completely useless if you have a laptop like most business people). They go for the UNIQUE slide-out lens design, Cyber-shot branding, build quality and the great features the phone offers (HSDPA, Quad band, touch sensitive buttons, 5M camera, continuous light in video mode, 10.5 mm thin, bestpic etc.). For me that's more than enough and the price is justified!

Come back to this Forum when you try the phone, then say whatever you want. Until then watch your language.

> In reply to lol_maker @ 2008-06-07 17:49 from myQcYES, by the end of 2009 I may change my mind about Se phones but for NOW I think SE going in a different direction - SE makes worst phones than ever - taking the market and level of technology at the time of release!

K850i was better a year ago.
And I have seen some other old SE phones they were better.

hey mstl?? nokia needs some competition?? i think you forgot something mate.. once again.. and i quote, in comparison with the N82... 'G900 seems to be a better option as long as the camera functionality / overall functionality ratio is concerned'

and that was with the prototype mate.

:)

Or SE can get out of the phone business! :(

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2008-06-07 15:22 from mstLI believe SE can become number 3 by the end of 2009. It was number 4 in Q4 2007 and LG just got to 4th place.

I agree with the reliability problems. They have had problems unfortunately which has led them to lose Market Share but they are revising their strategy. Honestly, they can impress and get back to number 4 and then number 3!!! Stay tuned for more exciting news :)

> In reply to lol_maker @ 2008-06-07 15:00 from myQcYes, I agree SE can be better - but not with the W890 or C902 - unless they will sell then for less than 250 USD.
(and they fix the reliability problems!!!)

The problem with your argument is that SE do not gain market share but LOOSES!!!!
While others gaining big time: one company gained over 50% !!!! market share and passed SE big time!!!!

At best, SEś dream is that Se becomes the 4th!!!! that is the Dream !!!! (by SE executives and SE market analyzers!!!!)

The XPEDIA X1 the only phone left we have tech data and that will be an expensive phone - can not make a huge difference as far as market share change!!!

I wish it will be a great phone - we need some competition!!!!!!

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2008-06-07 14:44 from mstLCome on Mstl you can do better than that. 100-7.6=92.4% not 93%. I thought you were the king of math...

So basically what you are saying is: "92.4% of the World Wide community hasn't shifted towards SE yet"

I guess it's just a matter of time...be patient!

Market Share is an important fact that describes a company's performance amongst its competitors. Nokia is very strong because it has an incredibly efficient supply chain and very few customised products. SE is not at its peak right now but with products such as the C902, G900, W980 and X1 the second half of the year will be much more positive.

Market share:

It came up because fanatics keep claiming that SE is #1!!! Well, not in most people´s mind - 93%!

who really cares about % of market sales or how many use a specific brand? seriously??
Owners buy the phone they choose preference to..that simple.
If i see a ph I think is the best I will buy it regardless of whichevers company's logo is on it,period.
