what competition have sony ericsson ever placed on Nokia?

k850 vs n95.
=n95 looses over the 5mp xenon flash of k850.
the reason why they released n82 immediately

walkman vs nothing from nokia
=sony ericsson were the first one to release a music oriented phone.
the reason why nokia released the xpressmusic.

w960 vs n91
= w960 win over n91.better screen, camera, and sound quality. thats why they put 8gb on the n95.

the reason why people prefer nokia over SE is because they only know nokia.
and that nokia does everything. NOT!

sony ericsson does not have all the features but all the quality.
c905 is not a smartphone but can beat all the previous smartphone nokia devices.

its great having an 8 megapixel camera (but crap video) but the reason why so many people buy nokias over them is because of their smartphone functionality and the fact they do more.

the n95 just does more things than this phone and it is 2 years older. thats why it has sold so well.

what competition have sony ericsson ever placed on Nokia?

k850 - well hardly it doesnt do anything
w960 - poor mans n95, half the features
p5 - oh wait thats cancelled
xperia - not out yet and HTC made it

Its not that 5mp is better than 8mp, of course it is clearly seen that 8mp is better than 5mp…but the point is, is SE put the right hardware to support the capability of the phone to capture a 8mp, well if then so that’s very good.

That’s why we must wait until the phone will be release…

I’m so excited to see the result…

but im pretty sure about this thing.
it has a larger camera sensor which makes good sense.

yupyups. if ever nokia have their 8mp, then they would say it is better than their 5mps.
ofcourse thats why they made an upgrade on the megapixel count.

nokia is just being _________ right now.
saying that 8mp is no better than 5mp.
its just because they dont have 8mp yet.

I'm thinking about Samsung G810 with Optical Zoom, Xenon Flash,bigger screen also Symbian S60 OS.
SE C905 only digital zoom where reduce photo quality & no operating system.
G810 released May 2008, C905 not released yet.

This means that mega pix count is not matter at all..

unless you want to print it in a bigger size and sharp.

let us see when the actual phone will be released... can it make a better difference...

Megapixels -- Pixels (picture elements) in a camera refer to digital light sensors, and cameras are rated by the number of megapixels (a million pixels) they have. Manufacturers would have us believe the more megapixels the better, but that is not strictly true.

Digital sensor area is also important. The more expensive cameras have a larger one which means, with the same number of pixels, each pixel is larger and can take in more light. The number of pixels determines how big a print can be made and still be sharp.

dani let me cite an example on why megapixel isnt necessarily the mean to improve quality

if you would take the liberty of researching about the mars rover "spirit" you'll see it uses less than 1 megapixel camera but it brings very very detailed shots of the mars


google it...youll be shocked

until now sony ericsson c905 first phones 8mp but problem memory card ... not micro sd no gbt

The only problem of N95's camera is when you want to get pics at night . this problem is solved in N96 with another flash LED beside the first one or in N82 with xenon flash . C905 doesn't have anything new . Just the name of 8 MP camera !!! :-)>
