one of the best phones I used,still checking this forum and now I'm using a xperia sola.. happy to use the last candy bar from sony (cedar)and the first smartphone with floating touch(sola) :) ....

I want to remove time and date from my cedar's front screen. .
Because I prefer using flash wallpapers. .

i have this fone and its not even "moded" (the only "mod" on it is a charm hanging off it) and this thing is still an awesome fone. the last and greatest candybar from SE...thankyou!

Someone plz help me. .
I accidently felt in to deep water with my CEDAR in my bag (MY FAULT). 4n seemed dead and. ,
After reinstalling it's system software , now I can use it. .
But some times my CEDAR restarts itself for about 2 times. . .
Not only that sometimes it turns off itself and I should have to reinstall the battery and turn it on. , then it turns on again . . .. .
Because of turning on and off battery goes down rapidly. . .
Does someone know the reason. . ? Plz guide me ! !

i also had this message, saying 'operation failed' . u better check your memory card. go and check ur file manager , if the memory card is visible or not. . if not, try another chip or download file into 4n memory. . . i had good results after using a new memory. . .
i dont think it is an error of ur network. . .

when i used this ph.as a modem but i don't want it charged when i use this ph. as a modem in my desktop where is option to stop that ?

The Cedar is a great phone. i have been using a red one for over a year now.
The Keyboard is FANTASTIC. Rock solid and an absolute delight. Picture quality is decent too. The only gripe is the plasticky finish. Layers of coating have come off in just ayear, and the front face has freckles and blots and blisters. The lettering is gone. The phone was never tossed around manhandled. Very disappointing. Its still a great phone, just that its finish is not upto scratch. pardon the Pun.
