Does free memory affects the speed of the phone? Because i had this phone for a year, when i install 3D games, it runs slow and laggy. i dont have a memory card and im using the phone internal memory. thanks in advance for those who will answer my question ^^

this phone is really good, its also a tough little phone, good for everything. its pretty much a mp3 player with phone capabilities.

I am using this phone from last 7 months, I am not facing any problem except cleaning of charger port... from last 2 months, I am using this mobile for accessing internet through HSDPA(3G) & the speed is rocking...
My software version is 1203-8254-R1FA031-080512

yeah,, youre right dude,, it is not easy to invent phones,, sony almost turn bankrupt just to compete with other brands,, my G502 first also having the same issue,, restarting & freezing,, but when i updated the software on sony website,, it disapears,, now i dont have any problems with this phone,, only thing is the charger port,, the lock mechanism is easily been damage,, & the display is easily been wash out when youre standing in a bright summer day,, you cant almost see the graphics,, over all,, this is a sweet phone,, by the way,, the camera is brighter than w910i,, excellent phone!!!!

I dont know wat u all do wit ur phones! My G502 never had any problems at all. I got a 1gb external on it. Got lots of apps installed, like bibles, more than 20 flash themes, opera mini, dictionary, ebuddy, 15 games and over 500mb of mp3. I have also hacked it so now it has flash menus. Never had any of the problems u all mentioned in this forum. Camera’s nice, sounds average, color quality is awesome, flash wallpaper is awesome, 3G HSDPA is freakin awesome for its price range...fast as hell! Casing is a bit fragile, but if u actually take good care of it, its durable. Only stupid people wud keep dropping their phones... If u dont intend to take good care of it n only want to find the negative side of it, then dont buy it! Respect the manufacturers, it aint easy to invent phones according to ur needs. Its not the phones that needs to get accustomed to us, we need to accept n get used to the technology that are offered according to our ability to buy them...

It is claimed that G-502 is a third generation web enabled phone. But It is not compatible to download the soft ware for mobile banking facility. Can the SOFTWARE BE UPGRADED.

i have an problrm with voice(loud speaker) & normal calling also,its too low i cant hear when i am road(way).
and when am in open envirment in silence then also i have to keep a loud speaker close to my eare. i dont know what is a meaning of giving loud speaker......
I NEED A HELP ..EVERY ONE FACE THIS PROBLEM

Well all I can say, this is actually the first time for me to see a phone & easily fall in love with it because of its' flash front but then hello the features ain't all that great but hey, it can do the job for me & I ain't too fussy unlike for some other phone gadget geek freaks who want this & want that in a phone & don't even realise how much WOMAN power it takes to make these COMMUNICATING GADGETS & I'M NOT FUSSY just as long it plays my music & thats what makes this world a better place("quote on quote" MICHAEL JACKSON-MAY HE REST HIS SOUL!!) So BIG UPS to the manufacterers in asia who made this phone, So comon you guys @ lest appreciate it, if not, then don't own a phone cause we don't wana hear your whinging!!!

For all those who are having hang & restarting problems, here is the solution to update to R1FA037 from R1FA031
all instructions are given here with many sites to download update files (all are correct & easy to use)...

I have been using this handset since 5months, it's a kind of pain when ur on line or working on it wil get restarted and sometimes it wil hang...is there any solution for this!

In my case flashing G502 for central Europe should be done, but I do not know this valid CDA string for upgrading. If anyone can help please help. You make me happy. Thanks.
