does this g700 and g900 both have a QWERTY option in the screen when you want to create a new message? in that case you have also the option to use the stylus in creating a message...

if u experiencing slow performance with this phone u should turn the transition off and the phone will be much faster.

I bought and used this phone for about a week and I decided to give up.
Battery life sucks, very slow response OS and I don't know about others but my touch screen is crap.
In the end I went to buy a Nokia N82 and traded this SE G700 and I am now happy again.

I am loving this phone but I have just one query. the g700 user manual says that the phone has a night mode option....but sadly I can not find it..can someone tell me where to find night mode option in camera?

OK guys.. I got this mobile in Bangalore. And its my 4th day I am using it... It is a great phone... Yeah one word "GREAT" nothing less than that! All feature of Cyber shot as well as Walkman phone... Of course it lacks the shortcut dedicated button for music as in the walkman series... but sound quality is no lesser than walkman series... I was looking for a mobile with touch screen, good cam, and good music... and this mobile was like made just for that...
And Ya... I got it in Bangalore.. But my mobile is not of "silk bronze" color its in cool "coco brown" color.. Looks really cool. I did not want that silk bronze anyway... :)
But wait.. the headphones are not the one like in walkman series ... its more like ordinary headphones...:( But if you can bear with those then go ahead and enjoy all the feature of walkman (Mega Bass, equalizer) and everything. Walkman series headphones are compatible with this phone.. So if you don’t mind spending extra bucks and buy those headphones then it can't be better than that... This 3g phone has all the features of cybershot (3.2 MP)..Image stabilization, red eye reduction.. Name it you get it...:) And ya.. battery backup.. I am charging my mobile every alternate day..!!!
And yeah.. it comes with 1GB memory card..:) What else you need???!!!! Cost in Bangalore 15700 INR.

G700 currently is a stable and user friendly hp compare to p1i/p900/p910/p990.
battery will last around 2-4 days depending how u use it.
backlight is 1 of the factors that affect the battery life as well.
