Very good phone, camera quality better than G900 even if 3MP, lower price. I had G900 before and I'm happier now with G700.
I have a permanent internet connection so I don't use wlan.
Writing messages with handwriting recognition is very easy and fast.

i am using a this one for the last two years..already changed two faulty boards..and now i updatsd my phone software and it is not startaing..

Does anyone know what I could do? My batery does not seem to be working right! Sometimes I don't even use the GSM one day and I find it completely exhosted the next! Would getting a new batery help?

My phone doesn't lag more than any other smartphone I've tried, including Satio or N97!
Advice: get a card if you don't have one; if you do, get a bigger one! Update your soft...

i used this phone............ it is a failure model from sony............. we can't use it if memory is full........... it is hangup often.......

So do not buy G700........

It is very useful when it comes to notes, shortcuts, music playing, sometimes even photos.
It's bad because it lags, because sometimes it freezes and because the battery does not last longer than 2 days if you use it; if you use it intensively, it won't last one day!!!!
All in all, considering also thee price, it's a very good choice for a first smart phone, but no more than that!

Excellent phone. I really like this phone it's just a pitty that mine died on me after only one and a half years service.. Can't buy them any more.. Why no one manufactures a normal candybar phone whith touch screen just does'nt make sence..

1)Great experience to use the phone.

1. Touch screen tidak terlalu responsif (agak lambat)
2. Saya mengaktifkan fitur blackberry yang akhirnya merugikan saya juga, masalahnya makan battery, yang seharusnya stand by bisa seharian, setelah saya aktifkan malah boros. Bagaimana cara me non-aktifkan fitur blackberry di hp sony ericson type G-700
