Is the screen clear ? And another questions for those that own it, does it have a good built quality , I mean in terms of design, form, slider ... I would really like to buy this phone cause it has everything I need, but not sure if it is worth all that money .

> In reply to Siv@----- @ 2008-12-12 09:27 from vGrxAny phone has its own pros and cos. So it's totally depending on your personal preference. Some people prefers N-series, Innov 8 or any smart phone with higher spec. I've used smart phone and pda phone before and noticed that as long as O/S base (WM or Symbian), its response will get slower or even hang soon or later which is similar to your pc unless you don't go online because plenty of virus out there. Java has less chance to get hang or slower (less doesn't mean totally not). This phone is a mid-range phone with all general features like wifi, aGPS, FM receiver, 1 button music player, youtube etc which to me is good enough for daily usage. One good point compared to my old w880i is I can set the message alert tone for individual person on top of ring tone which is more fun to me. FYI, the wifi connection is quite fast. So nowaday I can easily surf net, check temp, check email and watch youtube with wifi connection (FOC) whenever I go overseas.

> In reply to Daedalus @ 2008-12-08 01:35 from 4vJwJust to share my opinion with you guys. If earpiece does really matter to you, you can use a w-series earpiece on your G705 and turn on the Mega-Base. It sounds quite good to me. Of course the sound quality of W705 is more clear than G705 as W705 is meant for music. But my experience on G705 telling me that the sound quality is as good as my existing W880i which is quite ok to me. In short, earpiece itself shouldn't be the main factor to consider for buying G705.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2008-12-05 04:33 from Y9F}I believe it's depending on what you need. If you are walkman phone fans and prefer to some sort crystal music with 4G memory and metalic silver/red, then go for W705. If you like black/Gold and prefer to have aGPS with only 1G, then go for G705. In terms of software and hardware, they are almost identical. So it's totally personal preference. However, W705 is only available early next year. To me, I prefer black with silver lining around and come with aGPS, wifi, youtube, 1 button music player and FM receiver. The most important thing to me is Java rather than O/S base which I believe it's not so easy to get hang. I think it's good enough for me for general usuage and different purposes. Some tips for you. If you wanna improve the music quality, you may buy a W-series earpiece separately or just use back your old earpiece from W-series. I use back my earpiece, sync wire, charger and even the battery from my existing W880i. They are totally compatible. Enjoy your new toy, mate :)

> In reply to David @ 2008-12-08 08:35 from M{3PIf you need a very good photo shooting with wifi, I strongly suggest C905 which comes with 8MP.
Each serie of phone has its own strong point. G serie does not mean for photo shooting. You may seriously consider C serie instead.

> In reply to thinkwillbuy @ 2008-12-13 05:08 from PRQmNo, you don't need to use 3G. In other words, as long as you are connected by using WIFI, you can anytime use the youtube and watch the video clips. You may ask how do you know whether you are using 3G or wifi when you are watching youtube. If you are using 3G to watch youtube, you will see an internet icon which looks like a blue ball on top. In other words, if you are watching youtube without this icon, means you are using wifi.
