I'm a G900 owner myself and much to my surprise I've found out most of the complaints are NOT true. Yes, the camera is not that great, but if you want excellent perfomance on that area maybe you should consider a stand-alone digital camera, NOT a cell phone, specially one that is mostly business-oriented a so thin. I really like the touch interface, I think is very well implemented. The sound quality of the media player is just GREAT, even though I was dissapointed to find out that the equalizer doesn't have a 'manual' setting, just the pre-established ones. Also, mine came with the Blackberry Connect program pre-installed, which was a very pleasant surprise, you can get a BB PIN from your operator a exchange messages via the BB web service, but this might be market-dependant. Navigating thru the panels and icons is very easy, and you have a lot of ways to customize them to your liking. The opera mini web-browser that comes pre-installed is very easy to use, and you can have several windows opened at the same time! Another useful tool is the Business card scanner, basically you take a picture with the camera and then the cell 'processes' the information and turns it into an electronic contact, so it's a great way to digitalize all those business cards that you may have laying around. I´ve used it a few times and it's quite accurate 'reading' the information from the card.

Seriously... all i've been reading through alot of reviews and how bad this phone is.. what sucks... etc.. etc..

can't anyone at least post some good things about it? =P.. i'm sure there IS positive aspects to this phone

I'm planning to get it myself.. and even if this phone is "bad".. it should be must better and a huge upgrade from my current phone =P

Go to Hell with all those who critise this phone, this phone is the best phones ever! Small,with Touch Screen,5MP Camera, Symbian,Handwriting recognition,StickyNotes etc. Its a phones for godsake otherwise go buy a Nikon Digital Camera!Kumamazenu nyinyi

No news at all!

SE is geetting out of the cell phone business - they too slow, too many reliability problems, and unable to increase their market share!

For example:
G900 still has a very slow processor.
The camera is a joke.

Let´s say ´good bye´to a company which teases for months and finaly put an unrealiable outdated phone on the market for 600-700USD!

SE, just leave!

sorry to spoil the party guys, SonyEricsson is throwing in the towel on UIQ platform. Just got the news on Yahoo! Finance. You can search this ERIC stock quote.

Looks like they are cutting 2000 jobs and mostly linked to its UIQ R&D in Ronneby, Sweden. They are set to enhance only mid range phones in Cybershot and Walkman ranges. They are set to join a Symbian Foundation created by Nokia for open source Symbian Code meaning u might see S60 phones and probably more WinMobile (if X1 becomes a success).

Did always like the UIQ platform but it seems the winner is S60 and Nokia. Good for Samsung to have already started the journey in S60!

Sorry guys, for those planning to buy P1i, W960 and G900/G700, I'd serously re-consider this in view of the lack of further development and enhancements on this product line. Just thought I should share this!

hi! can anyone tell me how to play wma file in this G900, i had download some music some WMA files but can't play in G900, does it support WMA files? My G900 also can't read chinese message, can anyone help?

My touch screen doesn't work that well, I have updated it with the latest fireware, which I thought would fix the problem, but it happened again >.< Somedays my touch screen would work, and then at times it doesn't connect at all .. so when people ring I can't pick up coz the damn sensor won't work. Does anyone have an answer? Please respond! Ta.

what about camera hangs and not work sometimes until you clear off all settings to the default? wanted to buy this phone and three of them did not open camera..

I own a G900 and I transfered to it a lot of tracks that I have encoded on WMA @96kbps and it plays them with no problem whatsoever. And regardless of the file format, the sound is really good, a far cry from the K850's media player.
