instead of posting your sentiments regarding the lack of edge on this particular model...you can easily choose from hundreds of phone models from any manufacturer that will surely going to suit your needs...get?

I tell you why the EDGE is important. I am from USA and live in Thailand. in Thailand no 3G so this means need to have EDGE otherwise we are out of luck on using internet with this phone and then the 3G on this phone is only target for Asia and not USA 3G 850 so this means taking this phoen to USA it has a same problem would not work. Now you see why is important to have EDGE on this phone. The phone look great and I lvoe to buy one but it is missing EDGE.

i can't believe this phone, all of the features and excellent battery life! The only thing I wish they did was make one in a slider/flip model and and a DVB-H tv tuner to it.

looks like its been delayed till July or later :(
Only the G700 is showing a release date of May 28th and the list goes on till June.
Please sell asap SE... my phone is dying and I need a new one!

dude the camera of this phone is good it's up to 5megapixels with 3G, Wifi and who needs ann EDGE that is not important and can we eat the"EDGE" your trying to say and the important is that this phone has a Wifi, 3G and camera that is 5 megapixels with flash and this phone is easy to use and browse not like NOKIA...

Im patiently waiting for this phone to arrive come july, but then again the P5 starts to lurk on the horizon...man! This is a dilemma! The G900 or the P5? Arrgh!!!

G900 Great looking phone but missing the most important feature the EDGE which for faster data rate and powerfull flash Xenon. If these were included with G900 it would of been the best phone in market. maybe Sony remmeber to do this on next model. I do have the Nokia E51 and is not compare with G900 but it is great phone with everything I need on it. It is slim with all you need include alos the Wi-Fi, 3G, and all toher thigns. The price is reasnable. The only problem with E51 it does not inlude flash.

As per n0w the n82 totaly stands out and after k850 lost the megapixel battle to g800 and n95, there is a new successor to k850 due out s00n...

sony! sony! sony! no edge on such a powerful t00l? oh i get it...even the k800 n k880 dint hav edge...wats wrong with s.e? powerful phons limited features...thats y the humpty dumpty nokias are ahead...simple phons more features...

I bet its gonna be very expensive
compared to the E51
the only difference in the camera quality
E51 - 2MP
G900 - 5MP
but the E51 got infra-port and EDGE
I am sure Its waaaaay more cheaper
dont get me wrong, I am a huge fan of SE
I am just kinda pissed of from the new SE models and prices, thats it
all the best to SE in coming back to the market with strong competion
