But there's not much of a difference between these two.

Sony ericsson has really gotta lift its game so it can keep up with its rivals. even there lastest release flagship phones stuggle to stay on par with todays standards/technology, I really dig SE but sales are only going to get worse and worse until they bring out something that REALLY sets the bar and none of there new releases achieve this unfortunately.

regarding the camera quality, the link posted below is already the final version of the phone, NOT the prototype.
P.S. i know this is not a camera phone, but a consumer has the right to know the value for his money.

This is by far the best mobile I have ever owned. Great design, quick menues, good sound... couldn't be happier. As for the camera, I think the pics look great. In conclusion, I love it. :)

It has identical specs to the P1i. The only main difference is that it has a 5mp camera and better photo qaulities like blogging while the P1i has 3.2. It does not have infrared while the P1i has. I have the P1i and i don't use it for taking pictures (or any other phone for that matter) i have a digital camera for that. The P1i numeric keyboard takes some getting used to. For me, putting all these together, do i want the G900? not at this prsent moment. I paid £290 is for my P1i and the G900 will be similar (in the U.K). I will go for a model that is significantly better (with higher specs)than the P1i.. The SE X1 looks promising though. This is my opinion anyway; if i did not buy the P1i, i would go for this one. I like moving up with my phones (changed from the SE K610i to the P1i last october)

hi to all!!! i want to say that we shuldn't tall know about camera quality becase until now most of reviews used a beta version of g900. thst's why camera quality is not so good. in full version camera will be better. i think this a very good phone for a good price, even beter then n95 and n82 because it is small and stylish.

let me remind you first that the G900 is NOT a camera-centric device, it's not in the cyber-shot family. so stop bashing about the picture quality.
if it's a camphone that you're looking for then look someplace else.
but for me, i really do like the G900's simplicity and i can't wait to own one.

It's design is very generic. Too bad. It has very good specs.

the camera quality posted on esato
http://www.esato.com/phonephot...CSSON%20G900
i'm relieved to know that its definitely better than the prototype, But I have mixed reactions about it.
on one hand the color is vibrant, but on the other, I dont know what to make of it but seems like a bad case of noise reduction and color saturation, you can actually see the pixelated color shifting from one color to the other, plus it looks like a water colored picture
hmmm... but the 90% downscaled version solves this, overall, the quality is not that good, but good enough for a smartphone. well done SE!
