Hay M@T2 . What you mean blame your market and not the G900. Sony is the one need to market their products and not me. So, this means their phone can not be market in area not 3G available or do you know that 3G consume more power and expensive than EDGE???

Why many people shouting edge edge edge.
Do you spent many enough of your prepaid credit to download large file such as video and music?
If you only doing mobile browsing, you just only wait 5-10second longer to load webpage on gprs connection.
Do 5-10 second kill you?
Missing an edge is not a big deal!

no edge on non-3g network? this is where the wlan functionality comes in. look for hotspots, then you're good to go

Again Guys you forget that is great looking and fantastic phone but do not offer EDGE feature. so, if you travel some place has no 3G available the you have no way of having fast data rate transfer. I have not seen a phone offer all but not a simple funsction of EDGE.

I think G900 is aimed for first time or casual pda user, not power user. It can offer you simplicity & basic pda function.
You can see it from it simplistic
Homescreen, and the touch notes interface.
The video record also not intended for power user, it provide 320x240@30fps which may relatively enough for firstime pda user.

- poor interface, but I think this phone will have a good one since its using Symbian OS.
