comparing g900 to n82.
well both of them have 5 megapixel camera and autofocus.
but n82 have better flash.
both of them has pretty large 2.4 inch screen
but g900 is touchscreen and n82 is not.
g900 is also slimmer and bit more stylish than n82

the image quality of the G900 5mp camera is very bad. I saw the sample pictures in mobile-review.com as compared to N82 and U900.

This is actually SE's idea of bringing smartphone to the masses. P series phones are very expensive on initial release.
Nokia have done it with their S60 based phones. So in response, SE is bringing up new "G" series phones, a smartphone to the masses with Touch-based UI.
But I suspect that because this phone is never meant to be in par with P series phones, SE will leave a thing or two features underdeveloped. but i hope im wrong ^_^ eagerly awaiting for the retailed version of this phone review!
P.S. don't believe anyone that are selling this phone at the moment, this phone is still under production. And IF BY CHANCE, they actually have this phone, i'm sure that it's just a crappy prototype, untwitched, unreliable, and unfixeable. In short, a piece of garbage thrown by SE and picked by scrupulous person to sell it to gulable fools ^_^

Regarding the camera advantage over P1i
1. Touch focus
2. Image stabilization
3. 5megapixels
4. Bestpic (im not yet sure)
I hope problems are fixed upon release

yup! the best alternative to the P1. it has all the best goodies and more. P1's qwerty rocker keypad is the main reason why i didn't go for it, and since the G900 has the "traditional" keypad i think it will surpass P1's standing

true, this is a mid-ranged phone. The positioning is in mid-range as well as the price but with high-end features.
u can think of it as an upgraded version of P1 (software, 5MPcamera, wi-fi b/g) at the price of k800i.
i sure hope the camera would be fixed in the final version.
