After having this phone for 6 months I was ready to get a new one , battery is useless ,shocking and disgraceful . I,ve had this phone back to the place of purchase several times and it is still rubbish .Even had a new battery and new charger . You will have to charge it every 2nd day even if you only send a few messages .Nothing like going from half charge to nearly nothing after a 1 minute phone call . Do yourself a favour dont buy this very bad phone . :( not useful in a emergency

its a very bad mobile i use for only 3 months the main problem is its joystick bad one i suggest that dont buy this cell phone..............

I had also the same cell (damn cell) and it always get stuck. It's nothing but wastage of Money, Time, Ear Energy, Personal Buildup.
Besides this it even does not contain large mmemory. :(

I had a bought a couple of top-end phones before and either lost them or broke them in some way. Hence got this a year ago for about $70 so I wouldn't have that gutting "what a waste of money" feeling. Must say I couldn't be happier - good reception, good volume (ring tone and speaking), none of the freezing issues I has with some of my more expensive phones. Also has a sort of 'i'm no fashion victim' sort of cool to it IMHO. No MMS or internet or anything, but then do you actually know anyone who uses that? Battery life it not fantastic but if you plug it in and the end of the day like I do then its no worries.
Lovely.
ps - I couldn't work out at first how to turn up speaker volume - you need to push up on the joystick DURING a call. No way to do it when not on a call it seems.

I have had the J200i for about 11 months now and not had too many problems the only thing it sometimes does is the screen goes all purple and shows nothing. With the press of a few buttons this is usually solved.

The only good things about the phone are the ringtone speaker quality and the infra red port. All the other features range from poor to average.
The phone looks very good on paper but its fairly usless practically. A full battery charge lasts 3 days at the most. Actually the standby time is quite good but the talktime is poor.
The memory is too low, you can only store 8 poly tones and around 15 pictures. Plus it does not display animated pictures.
The display of the phone tends to go completley blue after a few months and it keeps happening even after they repair it. It happened to me 3 times in the last 1 year. Since the warranty has expired I am going to get rid of it and get a motorola or a nokia

Pls dont buy this model...
Battery problem is there...
Per day you have to charge the battery twice.
Except Battery, phone is good.

its ok the colour display is not 2 clear, theres no MMS, polyfonic ringtones dont sound really gud but since i got mine for $99 its pretty good well dats if ur jst a teenager but dnt buy dis fone

Hello!. I am using this mobile from more than 1.5 months. I found this mobile phone well with a good picture quality as compare to price. The only problem in this phone is the rubbish speaker, can't play heavy drums like ringtone of "Mission Impossible", "Spring Thaw" and much more.... However, a good phone.

This is the bad phone. No battery life. Talk time is less then one hour and it is slow processing phone. ringtones are good but overall i don't recommend it. not worth while.....better to purchase nokia 2600 instead....

I agree with the comments about the dark-blue screen and distortion. I bought a J200i in April and it's been happening to me frequently. I find that, on occasion, removing the battery (and sometimes and SIM card) can help. But yeah, I'm changing phone soon-ish, methinks.

Worst mobile I have ever used. This phone is good for nothing. It does not serve it purpose. You have to sweat to send two message. This phone can do one very well. Bring down Sony Ericcson name. It has worst software. Phone hangs everyday. Joystick as everyone knows is worst of its kind.
