Hi
The set is good.The ir works but has a problem with data cable. The battery is terrible.SonyE should do something

i brought this phone from optus and my voda red sim doesnt work in it. I also thought this fone had i mode in it. And the stupid video feature doesnt even work. An i aslo thought this fone was ptt, but it doesnt work! i should have never paid $499 for it!

I recently got this phone. battery runs out very quickly and interface is a bit slow. but IrDa and the sound rocks. Has anyone been able to connect to MSN thru wap.e-messenger.net ? the page comes up but it doesnt sign in. Yahoo works fine.

i like this mobile very much.it has a great sound and rintones,wallpapers,are very beautiful.i hope u will like it.!!

A real bad handset with seriously poor battery 3 hrs max time and swoosh its gone
...
i appeal to sony to replace every set purchased as it is bad on thier behalf and doesn't suits the cerdibility of a company like erricson

it is a very nice set,its shape is lovely its sound is very good i use this set a long time it is perfect but its memory is much less and dust easily get inside the screen through joystick
but it is a lovely mobilephone....................

its good looking but lack in features when compared to T290i. battrey is really a minus pont for this handset.it doesnt have MMs also

Design is flawless...but the battery backup is useless..I just wonder SE made a such a wonderful gadget with less battery life..sound rocks but battery sucks...Guys if you are intrested in good ring tones like MI2 or Christian Augleria..then you enjoy the tones..it is really good.

hi guyz plz plz plz no one buy this set...its the worst mobile i hav ever experienced i hav been using it for 4 months n in this duration it has gone twice in warranty 4 sound problem n battery getz low soo soon , its internal set problem with battery low plzz guyz dont buy that set ...

i think sony should be asked to make it available

yeah,battery life is really vry low-abt 1 or and half day.if u play games and talk a lot,half a day is maximum.
however its sound and looks rock.
amazingly IR works vry fine and can b connectd 2 other SE phones as well as nokia 6600 etc vry easily.

I heard that the battery life is not that great but I liked the way it looked and bought it. I'm shocked that the battery just keeps on reducing and the phone goes off. Will replacing it with a standard battery BST 30 700 mAh solve the problem and will SE replace the handset

Salam no doubt it is a very very good set but its battery hmmmm...... if the company made its battery good no doubt it is going to win all challenges bcoz it conatins every thing but very low battery time.

I m a user of J200i. No doubt about its look & style, but I m facing 2 problems with this set i.e. Battery time is not good enough to satisfy a customer & sometimes it stops responding.If any 1 can resolve these problems,please contact me.

Hi All.J200 is what i want i buy it a month before its sound is wonderfull its shape is beautifull this is very decent mobile.but it has low battery life and low memory

I bought Sony ericson j200i with a hope that its a good set but now I regret my decision.
Infrared port is incompatible with other contemporary phones like nokia and Mitsubishi etc. Games are pathetic, you don't feel like playing any of those. There are no sites from where you can get some good games for J200i set. I hope Samsung puts the same on their web sites.

Hi All,
I have had the J200i for 3 months.
It was returned to Sony one week after purchase...I received an sms and it kept vibrating...
They put a new insides in it. It worked fine..except for the battery life of 2 days ...2 and a half on power save with no calls...hmmm a bit short of the 200hrs specified...
Now it won't charge at all, and has been returned to Sony for repair..
I hope they fix it properly this time.
