i have been using this phone for 1 and half years now,
goods that can be highlighted
--its sound quality on earphone is good
--hanged only twice
--droped 8 to 9 times working fine only the back cover came off
--now in market there are many better phones available so this review may not help much
bads-theres a big list
--listening volume is too low for comfort
when ur in crowded place its too tough to talk
--keys makes sounds on typing ,annoying to others in a quiet place
--no search for contacts,only can search via letters
--hands free gets loose after repeated use,quiet trick problem
--sliver coating on the centre dial goes off in three months
--when u take the sim or battery out ,u loose all ur messages,this was very annoying,
--recently it makes a sound like terrrrrrrr when u dial a number n its not connected,it goes off imediately or it requires the battery to be removed[veery ocasionally but]
--battery i cant comment as i had the habbit of recharging it when it was half or only little bit empty
--currenty its 2days stand by,and 2hrs talk time continious,thats all
--fm goes for 6hrs continous
--better dont on the speaker,the battery vanishes quiet rapidly
--thats all folks
hope u liked it
now i will be shifting to w810i
as im a great music lover , n my preference is gd sound and capacity for my limitless colletion of songs with a bit camera work as well

why is that sony ericson pads usually get damage easily and how are they setting multimedia message

Because talk time is Up to 6 h. But talk time is 1:30 to 2 h I am very disappointed.

i bought this model on june 2007. the headset started giving problems about three months later. it is not even one year,but i have to change its motherboard twice , and still the problems like restarting by itself,hanging,etc still there.

It is a good mobile but its keypad make`s lot of noise during writing message and also it`s back side open with very more power.It not open easily

it is very good mobile set but i think data cable must be available in market for storing songs in this mobile.

well i am being using this mobile 4 almost 9 months but now it has been having 2 problems .
1)when it turns off it doesent get opened until i charge it ,then its display comes,
2)i have to write the no incontact twoo times one with postal code nd secund with simply no, if idont i wouldnt having the name in call oe either in sms.
plzzz repli me soon abut dis problem thanx.

been using this phone for two years. Dropped it numerous times but it's still doing great, save for occasional malfunctions such as hanging or indecipherable mobile numbers. Radio feature is great, but it sucks that it's not Java-compatible, meaning no other games for me except the installed ones. Highly durable but the sim-card slot is tight, it damages the sim.

I think this fone is quite enough for those people that only use voice n text features... I am using this fone for 2 years, n the machine is still good. Altough this fone have been dropped from my hand many times. The fm radio is also excellent. Quite loud n clear. For people that want to activate the GPRS service, email me, so i can send u some parameters... =D

Hi I'm using Sony Ericsson J230i for past six months. It bad exp for me. We can't connect data cable with this model. Battery life is short. Radio is excellent. Poly tones which is downloading from the co. site is only audiable. Tell to u'r friends and others do not buy this mobile.
