hi tomcat i tried what u said to add contrast level by moving joystick then * but nothing happened no menu appeared or anything and this phone doesnt have bluetooth hope anyone can help me. thnks

This phone is great comparing to its price.
As for the display anyone can correct the fading effect a little bit by adding/decreasing original contrast level. On idle screen press joystick >, push*; joystick < 2 times, push*; joystick

i have this fone three days ago it's very good fone but the display is not obvious in sun light the brightness in my setting is 100% if any one know how to fix this problem i will be thankful

Hello, I'm new to SE products. Can someone with this phone do me a huge favor and take a look at the charger that came with it. Does yours have only 2 small gold things sticking out of the end that plugs into the phone? Is this normal? Also, one of the gold metal pieces is slightly longer than the other? Just trying to make sure mine is not defective.

Dear friends sony ericsson k310 is very good and unbeatable mobile phone,because its technology is available on the cheap rate.it has available blue tooth and infrared as well as its memory is not bad for users.If we compare its technology with nokia or other mobile phones then we shall find it most cheapest mobile with its modern technology.I am thank ful of sony ericsson to sell this mobile phone at cheap rate.

the screen fades out in the sun. it is based on samsung technology and as u know samsung phones in direct sunlight are the worst. u can't see anything. alittle improvement to the k300 the memory is bigger but u can only record for 10 sec (whatwere they thinkin') let's see it's price

I just got this phone 3 days ago. Nice phone and a significant upgrade for me from the old black Motorola StarTac.
What kind of battery life is everyone getting. Charged up Sunday night, took several pics, made about 10 (short calls), transfered files via infrared (vibrates to receive), used alarm every day, some video but not saved and battery is at about 40% left. Normal?

Overall this is a good phone,but display is fading its features a bit. Batery is the most commenting issue. The video duration is less than K300.Why? while its memory is more than K300. The design is also not much good. But let me say that this phone still needs some improvement.

-K310i can record up to 10 sec.
-TFT is better than UBS but it makes little difference.
-Over all this is a rocking & sexy mobi.
-But there are few negative thing:-
1.Only 15MB (share)
2.No FM.
3.No USB port or USB cable.

I have had several SE phone before. My last was a K300i. This phone designe is much better comparing to that of K300. Disadvantages: less power of the speaker, doesn't show talking time of each call, difficult to read UBC display in sunshine, camera resolution only 640x480 and little bit blurred.
Advantages: more battery power, bigger memory, unique sms ringtone can be set, beautiful sound, shows battery state, better midi and mp3 ringtones.Illumination power can be set to 50% to raise standby and/or talking time.

i buy this mobile 2days ago.its amazing mobile but i put it in charger for one hour and close it and when i try to open it it didnt work and i discover that its battery not chargering so anyone know any thing about its disadvantage tell me please

This phone is already launched in Pakistan i have bought this set a week ago excellent so far bright color, good sound, nice shape what else do u want in a lower mid+ set
