whatever you do DO NOT buy your mobile phones from vodafone UK, get them sim free and use their sim. their lockdowns on software and personalization degrade usability by 75%

People who want bluetooth...buy the K700!!
K500 its the best in its class!!
The MP3 functionality its only for ringtones, if you want more...buy an iPod! Duhhh
Grow up...not all folks have lots of money to spend in phones (like many pelople that write here). There are low end phones, medium and hig end phones...the money in the pocket decides witch phone to buy.

Very nice looking phone with good camera for its price. The phonebook features are not as good as nokia. The screen and sound (both voice and ringtone) quality is impressive.

As with all sonyericsson phones this one lacks the loud sounds that nokias cheapest phone has. I think that the 3200 nokia which is cheaper and better has much better software then sonyericsson. I tried them all and there is nothing in the market that tops Nokia. No wonder they are number 1 in the world.

yo i just bought this fone im 12 ;) so dont swear its a pretty cool fone so i ask u, if my service provider supports the internet and blah blah, can i stream simpsons videos onto it? thanks a ton

bluetooth doesnt come built in with this phone but you can attach a bluetooth device to it, which you have to buy separately.. which is a very big inconvenience, not to mention added cost

first off, can anybody send me email on how to set up gprs on this phone?
good features and ok design.. main drawback is that it doesnt come with bluetooth, you have to buy it separately.
the other problem so far is the memory, it only has 12mb of shared memory
all in all, a good phone, but I would recommend a K700i than this one.. I'm planning to have it replaced with a k700i
