hi y'all, i bougth this phone yesterday, there is no memorycard included...how's urs? can the flash automatically turn on when taking a pict?

anyone... pls help me...

my comment bout this phone :
1.when taking a pict in the poor lighting, the pict result is terrible...
2. The keypard are suX

and the rest r cool...
the sound quality is good..

yes, I'm thinking of buying this phone K550i, And I have a question regarding the video length? is it like the w800 which is limited to only 15 seconds? or is it dependent on the memory? thanks very much

Go for K550. SE K618's camera is awful, moreover without autofocus and flash. But if u need 3G capability, go for K618. The music players are more or less the same.

Hi everyone!
I am planning to buy a new phone since i had used k700 for 2 years already... I am planning to buy either this or k618 so can anyone give me some idea??? Which one had a better speaker, camera and all those thing... I need to buy the phone that i won't regret so please help me out here:)

i owned k550i 3week back.
got some problem while taking pictures in poor light...did all settings but still have same problem.
can enybody have eny solution??
pls.send me on have it eny upgraded firmware??

There r few drawbacks with this cell.phone i.e :?Video/Audio player hasn't an option of rewind or forward the clips.?Speaker sound is not good enough loud to listen normally.?Sony-Ericsson company has not published a good manual of this particular mobile-set due to lack of so many guidance regarding few troubling functions of this gadget :(?So do hope the manufacturer of this great & a handy cellular-device will take some action to cover these problems soon !.. .?

Picket up this phone last week, very very satisfied with it!

Had a T300, T610, K700i and a K750i before and I love this one allready. It's super fast in usage, it's JAVA engine runs 10 times faster than my old K750i and it's much smaller. Formfactor is thinner. It also feels better in my hands than my K750i did. More solid. The buttons are great took a little getting used to but now I don't want other buttons anymore. Only weird thing is that the eventbutton is moved. But that's in all new models I saw.

Nice that they've moved the mic to the front of the phone again, not the bottom. Also nice the fastport connector is on the left of the phone. Weird for carkits, so you plug in the cables on the left side of the phone. Wondering what carkitpeople are comming up with to tackle this one without bluetooth.
Who figured out the system for opening it, damn, that's weird. It's effective but still weird!
Still think the sms system, that sms is being sent on the background, is weird, but it's in all new models starting with the K800i.

Overall:
Nice phone, a worthy successor of my K750i
Works super nice and FAST
Love it's size, it's nice and thin and is easy in the hand
Buttons are a little bit getting used to but now I don't want any other buttons any more!

Cam isn't really great, the K750i has a better cam, but at least it's a deceint cover over it, unlike many other phones.

k750 camera is better because of the focal lenght of 4.8. and k550 only has 3.8. hmmm.

I have the K550 for about two months now. It's pretty good, pretty loud. Good enough if you just wanna hold it and walk around or stuff it in your jean pocket and walk. The only thing i don't like about the K550 is the fact it isn't really a cyber shot. the video on it is low quality if it's a far shot even if you make a close up. and it says high quiality as if its reminding you everything you start up the video mode.
other then that i'm happy.

Am using K550 for last 3 months and am a v.satisfied user of same.

Need assistance on one aspect- the message sent time does not reflect the time on the phone. How do i reset the message sent time??

T and S series were reborn and K series goes out of number. and there is a rumor one of the SE series will die Not P, but maybe K or Z series. will SE move to the one numbered series after they got out of number? that will be answered by SE in their next releases. the sophia. i would love to see cybershot phones from the S range because S700 were built mainly by sony instead of Ericsson.
