It costs tooo much than its worth!!!!
Not much more than what k750 offered except for circular navigation instead of joystick(which was vunerable).

I am using 2 gb sandisk its the same memory card i used wen had k800,,i think people could be reading the samsung site or nokia site where issues are arising about memory,,i have d900 but some people are only getting 512mb to work were as i got a sandisk 1 gb to work but that was the samsung d900 limit and my nokia n73 only took 2gb card but would recognise 2.5gb of a 4gb card and my n80 which is supposed to take 4gb is anyones guess but in my p990 im using a 4gb with no problem and s/e might have put 1gb on their website because the 1gb micro2 memory card was all that was available then...
The micro 2 memory card will eventually go up to 32 gigabytes but what happens is they bring out say 1 gb and sell loads of them to get enuf money to shrink again to 2gb and so on if they went straight to 32 they would make no money and it just would not happen.Flash memory is were its going as its quicker at start up,,cosumes less power and does not skip went nudged violently and i think their using 32 gig flash memory in one of these new u.m.p.c. devices..some may say they have already got 32 gigs but it will be a lot bigger unit than could fit in a mobile fone,,
ive given this to my dad and getting w610 i on thursday (payday)but just cause of colour is nicer but its so new they have not got any faceplates or covers on the local markets yet !!!

this phone is the same thing as k750(same ability ),it costs more than it is worth.

To answer the various questions
1 - This is a budget phone so all you get is the phone, charger, manual and usb cable and a handsfree kit. IT DOES NOT COME WITH A MEMORY STICK.
2 - It should handle a 2GB card easily no matter who makes the card.
3 - The 'no bass' comment was probably about the loud speaker and not the headphones but who listens to music using a phones loud speaker? Do dedicated audio players come with speakers built in?
4 - As this is a Cybershot phone and not a Walkman phone it comes with an all in one headphones/mic wireless headset with in ear phones (not in ear buds) and no socket to use your own headphones.
5 - You can select any audio file as the SMS alert.

hi guys i am going to purchase K550 in a week. but i am worry about the picture quality of this camera. because people says that it is just a name of cybershot and its picture quality is lower than K750. and also its screen resolution and brightness / contrast is low, and its sound on ring tone is also weak. so friends my questions are.
Q No.1: please compare the w810, k750 and k550 on sound, and tell me that which one is better, and which one is on the 2nd rank.
Q No.2;please compare the w810, k750 and k550 on screen display and tell me that either k550 can compete in this matter.
Q No. 3: please compare the w810, k750 and k550 on PICTURE lever, can any one of you have picture taken from the camera of K550,in full size resolution, if you have please plz plz plz plz plz send me one picture taken in sun light and one in the night. my emils is ihsan_peshawar@yahoo.com
and also tell me that picture of which set is better. thanks i am waiting your reply plz send soooon thanks

the light increases in brightness when you take snap and wats this about no bass ??? Sonys megabass is tripe its to boxy sounding if you go to manual equaliser and put left hand equaliser colum to full then gradually increase second to left common to your taste,,if thats not enuf bass your deaf and shud get your hearing checked..Im using w900i earpiece set as most cybershot earphones are just a normal set they do this because they keep the dearer ones for a walkman handset...The music i get of this set is massive in dance music and drum and bass but they perhaps have spoilt it by using a non-in -ear set of headfones.They could have put the in ear buds in they are being childish to be truthfull megabass is a stupid setting and if thats all thats stopping people buyiong it you can get it to that setting by changing the equaliser round..

The K550i's camera doesn't have a flash, it has a photo light that stays on all the time. This makes it useless if you want to take snapshots of people, because the photo light makes people squint.

Finally got this phone! its cool! camera is the best in daylight outdoor, although night pic is bad as it can get, i am not complaining. Best phone i got so far i have only one question, my phone's signal is bad, sometime i cant even hear from the caller. is this normal or am i the only person suffering from this?
