i think sony intendedly did not put the sony memory stick slot...
coz i guess its more catered to those who could not afford to buy the Z800 and to those who are not tech freaks like most of us are in this place.

I'd certainly go with the opinion put before me by others, you have an MP3 player but what good is it if you dont have enought memory to keep those mp3s. I'd never mind if its a little bigger, yet it had to have memory stick provision.

It looks nice enough. But where is the option for memory stick. Sony make one of the best camera phones in the world so it makes sense to expand the memory to store more photos, more MP3 songs and video clips. It forces us to look at the Z800 and even yeeeesh the 6680! Sony please help bring out a more well thought out phone. Thank you.

MEMORY!!!!! I like things that isnt' so streamlined and the design is pretty good. MAJOR downside = memory! To reduce size they have to take the memory stick out? if that's the case i rather have that slightly bigger.

"Sony have got to be kidding ....
This is BS ... it's one step forward, 5 steps backwards.
Just updating the K700 with a memory card option and a 1.3 MP camera would have seen this pile of **** out of the window in 5 seconds. Sony Ericsson .... grow up for gods sake before the rest of the world rub your face in it ... cos I'm sick of waiting for you to bring something decent out !!!
and don't even start to tell us that the S700 is the flagship product of 2005 cos it aint"
You are a Joke realy.
This is only midend UMTS phone what do realy expect?
The most Phone has no 37 MB inbuild what the hell you talking about.
A another joke from your comment, the S700i is no flagship that is the P910i.
And the design is just fine.
You don't even know about phone's

after quite a long wait, i'm a little bit frustrated. I hope this is not the successor to the k700i. No memory card, and lousy design. i've to wait again.

Dun really know what Sony Ericsson is doing sometimes, they make great phones with great features but most of them does not let u expand the memory even though the internal memory seemslike large enough for use. Like K700

nice 3G phone. but, k700 has a bigger memory than this phone. i've read in mobilegazette that this phone memory's is not expandable.
wonder if it's true.
