I have been using this phone for around one year and here's my opinions :
- it has a nice and neat design..suitable for those who likes simple design
- the camera isnt that great but the pictures are passable..the only bad thing is it dun have flash =(
- the sound quality is good and it's loud when u play the music
- battery life pretty low..have to charge it for like almost everyday if u msg,chat and play music frequently
- durable? cos i dropped it on the floor for a number of times and it's still working..jus that sometimes it wud auto restart and sometimes the phone wud go hay wire but i dun really mind though =x
- sometimes i can hear my own voice when i chat on the phone..weird..
actually i think this phone is actually nt bad..but i am still not satisfied with it though.. =x haha now thinking of getting a new SAMSUNG phone but dunno if the functions are good and what bout the battery life?? i think SE's functions are great but i prefer's SAMSUNG's design..is samsung's phone user friendly??

Liza,
K618 is louder than W610 nd W810, when heard through the phone's speakers. Sound quality also is better.
When listening through headset, W610/810 has MEGABASS which K618 has not. Otherwise there is not much difference. K618 also is music oriented with dedicated music keys.

I got my K618 today. Cool cool. Compact, light, still fully loaded. Great sound- both in quality and loudness. SE is the best.

ehm, i think the voice/sound of k618i is louder than k610i. My friend say that, and i believe she.
i read opinion yet. The opinion mention voice/sound k618i louder than k610i.

dis fon ah...battery ah...very bad lor! alwiz hav to charge and oso de fon ah keep restarting itself after a while. other den dat ok la.

all sony ericsson phones have ecselent desing`s, but i`m not satisfied with the quality. after ahwile,when you compare your model with a newer one, the colors on the display seem to have fade out,the on/off button needs a stronger push to be functional,and dont eaven menchion the middle `joystick` button that dosnt work in some directions after less then a year. the amount of money is not worth the quality of these phones

i just read the opinions.Hmmm,, i want to answer many question in the opinions.Difference among k618i and w810 :
1.K618i can 3G, w810 cannot.
2.Voice or sound of w810 smaller than K618i.
3.Voice or sound of w810 softer than k618i.

Other opinions, mention k610i better than k618i. But i don't think so. Design k618 is good, black and white. If k610 red and gray.I think the gray color is public and not special.If the red color, emmm okay,, not bad..
But k610i is slighter than k618i.Yeah, is the special of k610i.
K618i has light on the centre keypad, is nice..Like Z520i has 8 light.And we can set the 8 light shining..My sister has the handphone.Because of that, i know about Z520i.Memory Z520i is very little,, only 16MB without memory card.
Beside of that, in K618i design has 3 speaker..is very good design..But i feel very very disappointed when i know only 1 speaker can release sound.
Weakness of K618i is thickness of the handphone.But i like it.Although slim handphone is soft to hold on, but is very slim i afraid if the handphone fall, easy to damage..
okay,i want to say no human perfect and handphone yet..

Chris, I have read so many reviews of these and all say K618 is louder. And so I just ordered for a K618 and waiting for it to arrive. Your opinion confuses me.... Had you posted before I order the phone !

sony ericsson k610 is better than this phone.. cuz the sound is louder than this phone.. and the durability of k610 is great! i would prefer k610 rather than this one.. even if k610 is at the old ones...

hi. yeah, that thing on top with the power button is a LED indicator. there is also another thing there, which is a sort of lock when you place the phone on a stand in a car or desk. :D
there is a separate place for you to place phone charms, which is at the bottom, very near the USB port. you have to open the case first though. :D
