Well I must say it has the same keypad layout as the w810 walkman phone. Probably the same functions too. As I recall the w810 was an update of the k750 so in fact after 2,5 years they recreated the k750 with a better joystick. If the price is right (as in cheap/low end) there sure is potential for such a phone regarding the sales of the k750 in the past.
However I would ask myself why didn't the camera get the autofocus? The screen resolution is less of an issue in my opinion. And they should make it available in more colors to supply a larger public.

wow im the one to post a opinion here nice...nothing interesting no autofocus, no flash,no infrared no wlan and so forth.....the only new is the design...tsk...tsk

must be really a really cheap phone...but its an upgrade to K618..now it has radio...
it doesnt have a flash?
sucks
i'd get this phone if it has a flash cos it might be cheap..hehehehehehe

well, i think its verd hard to navigate using the left and right control keys since they are together with the call/backkey and dropcall/clear respectively; but the steel navigation disk is kinda cool! and oh by the way; the display height is too high; its not proportional with its width display;

Bah, More of the same again... When Sony Ericsson put quad band in their phones? I like too much SE phones but many time ago that ever are the same only change few things.

Sony Ericsson is growing up at last an put a normal keypad layout on the K630 because its stupid Slots,Round an Square buttons on its previous releases look totally Foolish to me,i bet the k850 will have alot of complaints about the stupid keypads on it soon,another thing Sony Ericsson is improving it its joystick buttons,there putting disc round them now to any dust getting round them,but whats happened to it auto-focus cameras they used to be top class but now no auto-focus cameras being put on its new models an flash

give me a break s.e. a 256K colors 176 x 220 pixels screen u must be kidding me and its a new phone ... whts wrong with u looking at the w 960 u guys gave me hope for a better s.e. phone but after we heard about that it comes to crap phones like this one ... whats with u always talking about the track id music recognition , mega bass & mp3 ... why cant u always release a better phone (also better phones for less prizes) w 960 is very kool why dont u follow the w 960 all the way to the top or u will go down sooner or later ...

It's very similar to the v640, but not the same. It looks nicer, if you click on the picture you'll see. And it has better data capabilities such as edge and hscsd, the v640 doesn't support that. And the v640 supports Vodafone music streaming service, because it's a Vodafone exclusive. Those are really the only main differences.
