...sad to hear, sony doesnt provide quality service to its millions of customer. i hope someone from sony erickson would do something about its services... i hope they would become more proactive!!!!

Overall it's a nice phone, nice user interface, easy to use, but unfortunately message alert is too short, when i choose my own mp3 ringtone it only rings for 10 seconds and it stops.
And there's no missed call alert, it's a quite simple and maybe not an important feature but it's very usefull though.
I've used this phone for about 6 months, lately sometimes it hangs for about 6-7 seconds, and sometimes restart in the middle of usage.

I think the picture above is actually the v640i, I had the v630 before and it was a great phone, but a little plastic, later upgraded to the v640 and it was a great phone when I bought it in 2008, pretty basic, lighter than 100g and easy to text with. Better menu system than my other branded phones, ( Nokia and Sagem ). Only problem was that it has a decent camera, but no flash so in poor light it takes very bad pictures. Still going well after year and a half. Will stick with Sony if they continue to make mid-range phones of this quality.

I have using this fone for almost a year now. No isuues regarding the function or the system. No trouble at all. Right now I have 6 SE product K750, W610, K810, G502, K630, and K550. To SE : keep up the good product.

I have a problem with the video call, i try to make a video call to samsung innov8, but the video call cam doesn't work,i only see my own face..Anyone can tell me how to fix this problem?

I've been using this phone for a year... The only problem is, once in a while it'll restart by itself... To make things clear for all other users, this phone support 3.5G, as i'm using my phone now to view this page... Same like some posted comments here: this phone offers great function with a cheap price tag :)
