I also have the problem of the phone (K660i) that hangs, at times very, very slow to respond (listening to saved voice mail, and if wrong number dialled and you want to stop it - this is virtually impossible), shutting down by itself. It would appear that these problems are rather common on SE as I have seen the same problems on a number of SE models. I like the features but it is an extremely irritating phone to use. My first SE but with-out question definitely my last. Will never buy another SE(of any model)

I had this fone for the past 2 years and its not giving me any problem. I usually update the software every now and then to avoid issues. I usually back up all my file in SE Suite that can be downloaded in their website. I have 2GB mmc and it doesnt hang.. The pix quality is awesome if you know how to adjust.. The resolution is very clear.. all in all, this fone rocks!

Hello 2 all users of k660i !
can anyone tell me, if i want to change its body then how many screws will have to open? and would it be easy to change its body or not?

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2010-01-08 06:07 from PUkN - click to readI think it's not that hard to understand. A200 platform is more complicated than A100, but unfortunately it lacks the stability that A100 had. And the worst thing is SE hasn't given better engine to support this platform, same ARM processor, virtual RAM, small cache, as we found in A100 platform. You'll see the same thing would happen if you install Windows Vista to your Pentium III powered pc.

Cannot understand why Sony Ericsson phone will always hang. Mine can hang during a call, a sms or photo taking. I love it design, but with the system faulty, hard to consider shall I still buy SE phone ????

It's been 1.5 years since I've bought this, and to be honest I'm quite disappointed. The buttons above the keypad are not very durable, for me the up and end call button did not respond anymore. I got it fixed, after a few more months and the buttons have broke again. It's a decent phone, but does not last long in terms of durability.

> In reply to Adeel @ 2009-12-04 19:20 from u1vV - click to readFirst, allow me to correct my prev post about the meaning of 'G'. It doesn't refer to GSM network, but when it appears, means GPRS data transfer is available. (GSM network is indicated by the signal bars)

Yes, I'd sometimes found the same as you told. No 'G' nor 'E' appeared near the signal bars. I guess the problm came from the network, whether it was abt the signal strength or could be there's no circuit data transfer available at the moment. The phone was just fine.

The consequences when 'G' or 'E' symbol does not appear are:
1.can not browsing internet (although internet settings was correct)
2. can not sending MMS
3. can not do video calling (G + 3G / HSDPA)
4. text message will be sent slower

That's my opinion. Thanks.

(I actually had posted my reply on the same date of your post, but it didn't appear. Network problem too)

Yes, I'd sometimes found the same thing you told. No 'G' nor 'E' appeared near the signal bars. I guess the problem came from the network, whether it was about the signal strength or could be the spot of your position wasn't covered by any circuit data transmitter.

Yes, I'd sometimes found the same condition. No 'G' nor 'E' appeared near the signal bars. I guess the problem came from the provider, whether it was about the signal strength or could be the spot of your position was covered by a tower that wasn't equipped with any circuit data transmitter.

The consequences when 'G' or 'E' symbol not present are:
1.can not browsing internet
2. can not sending MMS
3. can not do video calling (G + 3G / HSDPA)
4. text message will be sent slower

That's my opinion. Thanks.
