i am a technician and i know how to upgrade k700i memory up to 128 memory.

i see alot of complain about the battery life here..if you are buying a original set the battery life is ok but if your set is AP set then the battery was not the SEoriginal battery so thats why the battery life more bad compared with the original.

Just got this phone today...not very amazing. I did the RESET ALL function cause there were some numbers stored on the phone since someone else tried the phone before I bought it but I lost also themes and tingtones!!! I have only one thme left.. one game... few ringtones.. is this normal or the phone is bad?!

according to me the best ever set of sony ericsson but the problem is of battery if i t would carrying a good battery it would break all records...
A finest handset
AND KEEP UR ASS SHUT CHRIS IF U DONT HAVE THIS FONE THEN DONT SAY BAD ABT IT OK......

I have had a K700i (in the UK) for a couple of weeks. I have had to charge it four times so far, best being five days with little usage, lots of usage (two hours of calls, FM for a day and lots of photos) and the battery lasts no more than two days!
Everything else is very good.
Come on Sony Ericsson, develop a long life battary! Your phones are better than those crappy Nokia, Motorola, and Samsungs, but you let yourself down by poor battery performance!

Hi,this is a brilliant Mobile Phone with excellent Clarity on the visual and sound.The Mobile phone is packed with features and is a lot of Fun.The downside to this mobile is the shape and the lack of an external memory slot.But otherwise this is one of sonyericsson's best mobile phones yet.

2 Days is normal battery life. Like I said earlier, this phone is rubbish.

last month,I bought sony/ericsson K700i but i am facing a problem of battery life, it does not last for more than 2 days as standby period, i complained to my supplier and was given a replaced original battery. But the problem is the same. please advice.

You can't pin lock the keypad.

Hi folks... As I have 3 meddlesome kids I'd like to know if the keypad on the K700i can be locked so that a code needs to be entered to unlock it. The [* Unlock] method is too insecure. Thanks for any helpful replies...
