I just bought the K700i and I think it's great except one problem: I have an USB data cable and the file transfer with the PC is VERY SLOW:2,4MB in 45 minutes. Does anyone know how to fix this please?

@ nyi,
you can zoom on the k700i. when your in camera go to more.then to picture size. the more smaller you make the picture size the more you can zoom.

@ behrooz,
the actual camera quality is 640*480 but you can change the SIZE to 1280*960.

Hi everyone...
I want to buy a megapixel camera phone and I don't know what is the resolution of k700. someone says 640*480 and someone says that it is 1280*960. please help me...

i use a K700 function is good than nokia. First, the volume to phone is clearer then memory is high to download the song to MP3 for ringtone. K700 is better use the nokia phone.

according to 6230 VS K700,6230 is only video recording better than K700,coz is more clearly although it is 15 second n 6230 hav expandeble memory..all function is same but K700 is awesome,and the camera shuttle,u can mute it,by turn the ring volume to zero n change to silent mode.

@Replayee - you CAN upgrade your own firmwarm.. thru SEUS with the use of a sync station

OKay firstly the mp3 on the k700 loudspeaker is very loud but suffers in crowded spaces such as
on a bus. When a mp3 is used as a ringtone and someone rings you it is much louder.

Secondly you CANNOT turn off the camera sound unless you upgrade your firmware. You CANNOT upgrade your own firmware* you have to send it to a sony ericsson center.

Once again we have the question of mp3 ringtones. Just go to sounds then go to the sound you want then select more then set as ringtone. If this option is not there you cannot use an mp3 as your ringtone probably due to your phone being branded.

Lastly the 6230 is no competition for the k700. The only thing the 6230 has better is expandable memory. Everything else on the k700 is better.

hi there i think the se k700i is a cool phone but how do u get to use the mp3 ringtones thats are sent to u via bluetooth from a mate i keep getting cannot use this file PLS HELP has i got some good tones THANKS

I think that the Sony Ericsson K700i is a really good phone as it looks really good and the features are also very good. There is one slight problem with the phone and that is it doesn't have space for a memory card but you don't really need it as the 41 MB is quite adequate the camera and music player are also very good. Overall is a great phone which would be great for a first time camera phone buyer and also if you are upgrading your old camera phone as this I think is a good rival for the Nokia 6230.

Even under silent mode i could hear the click sound of the camera. Anyone plz help me to over come it.

replyee,k500 screen is bigger a lil bit,n memory not triple,but is "extra" 29mb then k500.

What they do is upgrade your firmware, just like you upgrade your XP from SP1 to SP2. Bear in mind to backup all your data before sending in for they may need to master reset your phone before upgrade to prevent any crashes. Normally, it will only need one day for them to do so.
