maybe you need to activate your gprs and mms from your service provider.. I had to activate mine b4 it worked

thanks for replying to my question...thank you very much...but one more thing how can my gprs and mms activated, i've tried it so many times but still it doesnt connect,always connection failed..is there any settings do i need to do? i cant send pics to other phone, thats my prob now....please post some answer...tnx a lot..:)

For thise thinking of getting this phone personally i htink its worth it! This phone has an array of interesting features which are sure to keep you company and with 41mb shared memory (no memory card slot) you still have plenty of space.
The camera quality is good (looks better on a pc) you can take many different sized pictues to, you can fit up 2 20 songs or if you compress the songs maybe 30 and video recording is unlimited (as much as the memory can take) better than most other phones because they have time limts (Nokia, NEC, LG etc...

Ok firstly to use the flash on your K700i, turn on the camera and press 5 then it should turn on, and as for Mp3 ringtones, download an updat or firmware not sure what its called at the Sony Ericsson web site then after the update you will be able to set mp3's as your ringtones...i know this works because i have done it many times, oh and by the way the only reason why some of you can't set mp3 ringtones is because your phone was originally made by vodafone and they lock a few things and change a few things...

mp3s can definitly be used as ringtones. but it might not work on the vodafone network. TO use the flash the camera needs to be on. slect more and choose light and slect the light to "on"

what i can say is that i love this phone's cam alot. although the shutter sound is quite loud and unpleasant and lack the ability of silent it,but you will soon get used to it.the photos take was very clear.you can record video depends on how much memory u've left. its considered unlimited time which is very good so u wont miss any nice view while recording. u can add frame to ur photos before taking and can also do so after you taken ur pic. jus go pictures-use-edit. u can even add fun stuff like hair, moustache, nose, mouth etc. u can even add effect to ur pic.indeed a fun phone to play with. u will never get tired of having it. its quite hot on the market now, many people are actually buying it. it look good too, quite stylish. whats more we can ask from such a nice phone?! strongly recommended.

whether this phone can last how long, it depends on what u've did with your phone. if you keep taking photos,video listening to mp3,of cos it will use up soon. i tried before, sms for a very long time. lasted 2 day. although the battery life is rather poor but its actually a good phone indeed.the battery life gets stronger after every charge. u will soon notice the difference. a very nice phone to be recommend. do consider buying it.

great incredible phone!!!slick menu, good sound q & nice looks(except it`s buttons)!!
one big problem !!!ever since i bought myself headphone the memory seems to be not enough ...guess i`ll have to buy myself a real MP3 player juke ..

joey: Branding is the software that the operator, e.g. vodaphone, orange, o2, installs on the phone usually to make the menus and icons similar to other phones by the operators.

To joey: Your comment about not being able to use mp3 ringtones on branded phones isnt completely true, mp3 ringtones work for both Orange branded and o2 branded phones, as far as im aware its only vodaphone branded phones that do not allow mp3's as ringtones
