i first owned the nokia 7610,it was lovely but while i was enjoying it,the loud speaker tore out.then i bought the SE K7i,all in all its lovely phone with Fm/MP3/BT/IR.the size and colour is very sexy.one major problem is battery timings???????,,charge it everyday to fulfill ur needs.if i were to rate it 9.5/10.

good display and has a lot of functions but SMS tones are limited.. You cannot assign ringtone/sounds/records/mp3 to sms tone ... and a little bit memory for MP3 player, at least it needs 64 MB for music :)

any bluetooth dongle should work.. u can use with xp sp1 .. and no, u cannot update firmware with BT cuz firmware upgrade also upgrades stuff to do with BT on the phone

So can i buy any bluetooth dongle or does it have to be a certain type. Can i use this to update my firmware too. And finally will it work on Win XP sp1. Thanks

One word to describe it! PATHETIC. this has probably the worst VGA camera i've seen on a phone. and that extended res. is nothing more than a gimmick like many other things in SE phones. if you use it alot be prepared to charge the phone, every 20 hours or so. doesnt even last a day. pathetic software hangs innumerable times. typical SE all the way. lots of nice features but from inside it's absolute junk. reception is laughable. and aint that too like other SE phones? wonder why Sony doesnt stick with what they know instead of partaking in this god damn scam of wasting our hard earned money on such flimsy products. lots of hope on this phone but that's all it would be. good enough for naive kids to play around with and marvel at its animated wallpapers. but for a person looking for a reliable phone that combines a few other new technologies Sony Ericsson should never be recomended. wish i had spent this money at least on some charity...

Well I bought this great phone a couple of months ago and I think it's absolutely fantastic especially the camera which can snap pictures with 1280 X 960 resolution. Although the battery is not a lingstanding one, it's worth of having this phone. Bye Bye...

I think that the phone is good but it needs a few improvements... the battery time is less, blue tooth is not compatible with most of the other sets and it hangs many times during bluetooth usage.... the body color fades within a couple of months...

I have disappointed on this mobile because the picture is fuzzy when I download it on the computer for the black color, the stickers on the phone slip down after two months only, and the cover of the sockets at the bottom of the mobile has been deformed after three months.

actually, this phone model, K700i is better than i thought.. the function was so good but 2 me im not really satisfied wit it because im still wondering why mp3 player can't be used as a ringtones 4 sms messaging.... so far this phone never make me crazy n headache... somebody, present me a new phone plseee

I'm a crazy phone lover.I'll go for anything that offer best features etc.I've tried anything from Nokia,Siemens,Samsung,Sony.The T610 has indeed let me down so I've stop with SE phone until I've tried K700! for a change.6600 too bulky sure to stop using after few months others ok only but samsung still can consider.Among all,the K700 has what I've wanted from it unlimited video rec,mp3,themes ,radio,and many more.Of course it's not perfect yet but sure to stick with me for awhile.I would recommend this phone as the top 3.

Comparing with my previous T630
The QuickShare sticker will Quickly Fall down. Then the look of the K700 will be terrible. Why didnt they do something like the T630. Little more bulkier than the T630.
And to charge, the rubber cover at the bottom should be pulled out everytime. I have seen some people who chopped it out.
The rest about K700 is that it is a good phone with FM/MP3/Camera/Bluetooth/IRDA.

Started liking SE, compared to its price and features.

I have this phone and it is working excelent. Good choice 4 anybody who whants 2 buy this product. 4 myself 41M memory it's ok. I've downloaded many themes, ringtones, games from net, and i using bluetooth 2 transfer them on my K700i (bluetooth, IR working superb). Camera may be improved ... but let's be honest: if U whant v.good pictures go and buy a 8Mpixels digitalcamera. I am using only Ericsson phones (GA628, A2618, R520m, K700), and NONE let me down.
